    The good:
    1. We won
    2. We won against the Patriots
    3. Jaylen!!!!!
    4. O-line dominated
    5. Defense came through overall

    The bad:
    1. The Pat's beat themselves in the first half.... we cleaned it up in the 2nd half, but need to do it over a full 4 quarters..... the saints won't be so generous
    2. Boz needs some counseling
    3. Where was bud Dupree all game

    The ugly:
    1. It's saints week
    2. Artie burns needs to be inactive the rest of the season

It’s was Sean Davis that screwed up, not burns. For all the grief Dupree gets he’s actually done a reasonably good job. Yes, it would be great if he had double digit sacks, but hard to do when you drop into coverage a pile. If you watch yesterday’s game we rushed 4 a lot(watt, hargrave, tuitt, heyward) which put Dupree incoverage. The defense gave up 3 more points for the game. Outside of one play they played very well.

We got away with putting VW on a receiver but I cringed every time Brady passed assuming he was going to target his man.

1st and foremost, I watched every second of the game....
2nd, while sean davis missed the cutoff, it was burns who let him get open due to missing his assignment.... he went with haden on a double coverage instead of Hogan
3rd.. Dupree rushed more than you may think... he just couldn't separate from his blocker at all... for the game, he had absolutely no tackles (not even assisted)... no passes defensed, and zero pressures ..... I actually like Dupree, but he was pretty much nonexistent in this one

The good I am now 2-0 against the Patriots when I seen them play live against the Steelers.

The good- Samuels and the d
The bad- Ben.. 2 more stupid ass picks. Enough. Your a 15 year vet start acting like it.
The ugly- Boswells 32 yard 9 iron shank.. If he costs them another game he will erase all the good he's done the past few years

Solid breakdown of the play and how we have been covering dating back to last year on sd.com. Davis blew the assignment FYI Dupree played less than 50% of defensive snaps.

You really put the one INT with AB on Ben? The other one for sure is on him but that AB one would be hard to fault Ben for it.

That's still 1.. 1 stupid pick a game from a 15 year vet that's why they need to run more and not have Ben have as many opportunities to be a jackass

Most of Ben's INTs this year happen when he tries to force to AB. He needs to cut that crap out or it's gonna be another quick exit from the playoffs.

    Good- coaches pulling Burns early.

Ugly- i like Dupree also but him being a Steelers olb starter is ugly. More plays from that position is a major need to compliment Watt imo.

The first interception was intended for Smith-Schuster. On the second, the defender got in the way of Rogers' route and that interfered with Brown's ability to get to the ball. It was actually a good play by Gilmore that led to the two Steelers colliding. It's the kind of rub route the Steelers have been converting third downs with all season. The Patriots just played it perfectly.

Dupree was injured during the game. I believe he came back in, then left again and did not return. Tomlin mentioned a bone bruise.

The only time Dupree came close to making a play all game was the ball that went right through his hands to Edelman on the third-down screen, which the Steelers stopped a yard short.

Agree, Dupree has been pretty much nonexistent most of the year, but he was out some of the game with an injury but did return.

Dupree is taking Jason Gildon's WLR (Wide Loop Rush) to a whole new level. Good lord.

I'm not so sure.... Rogers was held pretty significantly, which is why he couldn't clear out of AB's path. Ben made a good throw, just an unfortunate result.

The Good: Let’s give credit where credit is due. Tomlin’s challenge on a play that wasn’t challengable. With the Patriots marching down the field and our D backpedaling, it allowed the D to regroup and led to a turnover

Agreed. He takes a lot of heat for his challenges and in game management, and rightfully so, but that was a smart move. It also let the refs see that it should have been a fumble.

Tomlin said it wasn’t Burns fault. If so, why was he benched thereafter?

If you want to claim there should have been a penalty on the play, I certainly won't argue. Either way, the interception was created by what the Patriots did more than anything Roethlisberger did wrong.

That's why I don't buy it when Tomlin claims that it wasn't Burns who screwed up.

The good: we beat the pats and we are still alive

The bad: not trying for a first down to Ice the game and so little points even though we dominated.

The ugly: no ugly this week. Beat the pats and cowboys shut out lol
