Tunch & Wolf appreciation thread

Man I love these guys are back on the air, makes my work day go that much faster! They got great info too.

Well, that's all I got. Just wanted to give them props!

 

For Financial reasons alone I got rid of my Direct TV package and therefore have no NFL Package anymore...... It's sad, I know but listening to Tunch and Wolfe is some of the best radio commentary ever. Keep up the good work guys and get me through another dreaded season of life as a Steelers fan outside of the Burgh.

I actually can brush up on my Pittsburghese druing the season.

 

Love Tunch and Wolfe, on air during and after a game, but their daily show is great also!

 

What station are they on? And do they have an internet feed? I haven't listened to Pittsburgh sports radio for a couple of years and would like to start listening again.

 

I believe the NFL no longer blocks internet radio broadcasts of games. For a while, they did. I wish MLB would follow suit so I can listen to the Pirates games.

 

They are on ESPN 970 during weekdays. 12-2. You can listen online.

Only pre-season games are free to listen online on ESPN 970 and WDVE. Once regular season starts you have to pay NFL to listen, unless you are in the local market I believe?

 

Most preseason Steelers games aren't telecast here in Virginia and I end up working late anyway. The drive home with Tunch and Wolf has become a late summer tradition. Love those guys. Last night's broadcast was funny because they had to talk over an extremely loud and passionate Eagles fan all night.

 

You can still catch the regular season games radio broadcast on the internet usually. There is a minute or so delay so perhaps that's how they can do it within the rules.

 

Wolf's voice is too damn loud! Hurts my ears when I listen to their radio show. They need to turn his mic down or something!

But Myron was the best. Id turn the sound off the tv and tune into Myron on radio. Those were the days!!!! I REALLY do miss that man!!! STEELER games are not the same without him!!!
