Why was Woodson a traitor he was a 49er when he signed with them, the 49ers cut him and Kevin Greene to free up salary cap Feb 7 1998 and he signed with the ravens Feb 21 98, so he wasnt a steeler when he signed with them so how was he a traitor, the steelers had opportunities to sign him when he was a free agent but for the second time he was FA they didnt, so dont blame him for their stupidity......

By that logic, James Harrison isn't a traitor either.

Absolutely. I never took anything away from what JH did on the field prior to his last season.

Woodson didn't leave to play for a hated rival.

Also, how they left is completely different.

I missed the choice of nothing. At this point after all the years, it is time for him to move on, regardless. I don't even care if they win the SB but we know that is NOT going to happen.

Everyone reaches a point where they are no longer effective and I believe he is past that. Most of us call it retirement. He won't retire, but it is time for him to step aside before he wrecks then next 10 years.

I'd rather suffer with a new coach than to explore the virtues of Chinese Water Torture.
