In other breaking news we hired an old coach from the giants

 

I guess the 2 kickers they tried out, could not beat out Boswell, What a surprise

 

I don't think it's a bad idea. At least it's something. The kid was a pro bowl kicker last season, he has the ability.
A sports psychologist might have been a better idea though. (just my opinion, I know nothing about the process)

I much prefer having Suisham in to give advice than the smoke and mirrors, we are having open tryouts b.s. They were never going to cut Boz the dead money hit would hamstring what they want to do next season.

 

That's just wrong.......

 

Boz can make F/Gs all day long in practice, but right now game pressure has him second guessing his kicks when they count, it all started when he missed that kick in the browns game in game 1, since then in live games he over thinks his kicks too much, and the more he misses kicks the more he loses his confidence from the pressure, it's all in his head, it's not a physical thing at all......

 

I love it!!!! Bring in a set of qualified eyes to help diagnose what he's doing different. It's so technical and one small glitch changes everything !!!

They invested in Boswell..... He showed he was worth it then and he is worth the effort to coach him up ..... After all, don't other players get that courtesy??!!

Do long snappers get that courtesy? No they don't. If you can't perform your skill there's not much that can be done. Which is why you don't invest in kickers.

 

Looks like Forbaith is a Jag-off.

 

I don't think you can compare any other position to a kicker. They're special.

 

You're right. Which is why you can't really coach kicking at this level. Either you can make FGs or you can't.
