Stone cold lead pipe lock, I guarantee it :herewego!:. The Steelers are desperate, I don't see them losing 4 games in a row. If Conner plays that would be a big boost for them, the Steelers win a high scoring game.

What would be utterly hilarious (in a bad way) is if we beat the Pats, but find a way to miss the playoffs.

I had us as a loss earlier but I say we win 7 straight. Reverse jinxes never worked for me anyways

The only way the Steelers win Sunday is if Gronk falls down the escalator and then gets caught under the tracks and even then I'm not sure we would still pull it off.

Key is going to be getting pressure on Brady. Can’t sit back. Offense has to put up some big boy points too.

It can certainly happen. But like I said in another post, I’ll have my bottle of hard liquor on stand by just in case.

With the unexpected loss to the Dolphins, the refs will definitely be giving this one to the Cheatriots. Have to keep them on track for at least a bye, if not home field throughout the playoffs.

Yeah man you put Hargrave in there most of the game with one simple instruction: get inside pressure on Brady at all costs.

I like our chances these next two weeks. Saints will be the much tougher out; this is our year to finally overcome the Pats.

If everything rolls downhill like the Carolina game then yes they can. If the refs swallow their whistles and there are zero holding calls for holding Tuitt, Heyward, Grave digger and Watt then it will be a long day. That's not even considering the dump offs to rbs that are the bane of playing against the Pats.

Or steal that robotic arm thing he wears. I heard a rumor that they will cover him with McCullers...

That said I hope they can finally WIN a game. Desperation? I feel that was last weeks contest.

That would be the only way I can see myself coming out of this slump of depression .. jk If they win it will give me at least a renewed interest and a whole lot of optimism

Pats lost last week, so they will be hungry for a win. Same old same old....spread us wide on defense and dink and dunk...dink and dunk....dink and dunk....and then Gronk down the middle for 60 yards. I would like to think we can stop the Pats, but Bill and the Pats laugh every time the play Tomlin and the boys since we can’t seem to figure it out. As usual, hope for the best, but prepare for more undisciplined Steelers football.

They just need to play the rest of the season like they have nothing to lose because really they don't. At this point, no one knows what to expect from them, probably not even themselves. Instead of unleashing hell, light their butts on fire!

Steelers defense isn't ready for the elite teams. Next two weeks vs. Patriots and Saints will prove this. Hopefully, this will finally light a fire under the FO and changes are made.

i remember last few times we played them the big concern after the standard loss was why can't we play man coverage. Our DBs are 10 yrds off of the ball and the Dink & Dunk Jedi Master completes a 3 yrd pass that goes for 20. Our coaching staff knows this, I think, so will they finally learn how to defend the Pats? I am hoping but mentally prepared for the Brady clinic nonetheless.

Please, just stop with the conspiracy theories. It is far too much risk for far too little reward for the league. It's one of the dumbest things I see posted here.

The Patriots really are the anti-Steelers. They really don't have as much talent, but they don't beat themselves. They have the kind of discipline and attention to detail that Tomlin's teams just don't have. Outside of Gronkowski and Brady, there isn't a special talent on that team and neither of those guys is close to their physical peak, but it will be more than enough.

The loss to the Dolphins last week makes it even more likely that the Patriots blow the Steelers out. The one pre-game issue that could settle things even more before kickoff is the status of Conner. If he can't go, it will get very, very ugly.
