They tried twice, and while it may be preseason, it would be good for momentum to get a touchdown. Have to throw on 3rd.

 

O.K. I love Steelers football, but it just hit me that these teams play in he regular season. We're not seeing anything CLOSE to what we'll see starting September 9. I'm ready for the game to be over - eliminate injuries - get back to camp.

Baron Batch is in a battle with Clay for a roster spot....He seems like a differnt runner thn he use to be....

 

This is his first game action since injury

Vacation started 2 hours ago, headed to Outer Banks Saturday morning for a week, and watching Steelers game on an illegal feed while drinking a Yuengling. What could be better?

I'd say look for Batch to get a lot more screen type plays in the second half. I think they just ran him straight up during those early series because we were inside the the red zone...

That is terrible! We may win the game but these are all guys that I've been excited about watching.

 

Nope ,but he was explosive and decisive in Camp and at OTA'S....The film I have seen from camp this year he lacks those skills.....He also seems to tenitive tonight...He may get his swagger back,but mentally he is not the same RB.... I hope he can get his mind right,but this type of Injury has a history of changing the way a RB plays....Redman,Dwyer,and Rainey all showed that IT thing if Clay does un the 2nd. half and he has been in camp then Batch might be the RB fighting for that last spot...

 

Redman looked awesome tonight! 5 carries for 14 yards!!!! Juan Castillo didn't know what hit him.

 

this is not what we needed. d-line looks slow off the ball. whole defense looks like they are moving slow. still thinking? sly looking good. spence around the ball alot. beachum looking decent at LT. line looks young and not together yet. as to be expected.

Wonder if at some point they will practice the punt that goes about 15 yards and doinks off the opposing team's helmet only to be recovered for a first down.
