The Chargers average 25,000 a game, so if that’s what they want, they’re not doing a very good job of it

Again, bad calls noted, but this team melted down in the 2nd half.

Doesn't help when your secondary let #13 Keenan Allen rip them for 1st down after 1st down either alot of blame to go around!!!

Steelers have been overrated for years... the past 3 seasons to be precise. Steelers are on the road to nowhere again.

If you want to beat the Patriots you have to play like them, they don't lose games when their marginally ahead by 20 points!!just saying!!!

It's funny how after the obvious blown false start call (that resulted in 7 points the other way) the refs just couldn't see false starts from the visitors but on us they could? Especially after our coach made it clear he was upset at their incompetence! Crazy how that works right? The block to back called on us but not them? When one was more obvious than the other??? "QUICKSAND" like Keanu describes in "Remember the titans" is what shortly followed.
Also no one has mentioned how the first half their offense had 1yd rushing to 83yds in the second half, why you ask ??? More blown obvious holding penalties on Watt and and Heyward on multiple downs, particularly the drives they scored on. It's as if the ratings began to drop at halftime as it looked to be a blowout so the Corporate offices made the call to keep the game close so we can run all these adds still...Obvious tactics are obvious. Like that one Superbowl where the power went out! "The Baltimore Ravens were leading the San Francisco 49ers 28-6 when most of the lights in the 73,000-seat building went out with 13:22 left in the third quarter Sunday night." ALL of this after a HUGE halftime show that went off without any electrical problems?!?!!! WEIRD is WEIRD. I think it may all be a big show/soap opera. ;) Just saying maybe it's possible?

How's come, the NFL is only rigged when the Steelers lose?

The Seahawks and Cowboy fans are crybabies and whiners when they think the zebras called things against them in favor B&G, but when calls go against the Stillers, Yinzer Nation is the aggreived victim of the crime of the century?

Refs screw up, QBs screw up, WRs screw up, stuff happens. It's not conspiratorial, it's flawed or perhaps confused or incompetent humans making mistakes.

Feel free to be made about it, but stop the persecution complex.

The same weak ass mentality where they invited Harrison back the very next year after going to a rival to try to help them tie us in Super Bowls. Is the same reason why the refs come in here and screw us. This would never happen in Foxboro, Philly, or anywhere else. That's why there's no reason to try to get the 1-2 seed. There's no such thing as home field advantage here.

Well, I guess ya gotta take the good with bad. The only team that benefits more than the Steelers from fortuitous officiating is the Pats. It's gotta even out a little some time along the way. Not talking about the number of penalties necessarily, it's the timing of the penalties or the lack of a call on an obvious one, that seem to benefit us more often than work against us.

And I keep hearing how talented this offense is and yet they only score 7 points in the second half, and now they lose two games in a row because they cant score enough to win, bottom line this offense isnt as talented as everyone wants me to believe they are.........

I'm starting to think it is which sucks because it really taints our championships. At least the last 2. Goodell is crooked. I am really starting to believe they use the refs to influence games. I really think they are trying to do everything they can to make LA fans happy

I've been saying this since 2016. The offense is overrated, big time.

FWIW, penalty stats thus far this season...

    Against: 90 (4th-worst; league-avg 80); yards: 823 (4th-worst; league-avg 681)
    For: 91 (4th-best); yards: 758 (8th-best)

It seems more that both teams get penalized a lot when we're one of them.

Top 5 teams (getting more calls against their opponents than themselves): TEN, CHI, IND, ATL and OAK.
Bottom 5 teams (getting more calls against themselves than their opponents): LAC, JAX, GB, BUF and KC.

And now New Jersey. I love having sports betting and hate to say this but going against the Steelers has kept me even. Last night I had the Chargers plus 3.5 which saved an otherwise losing day.

They scored 30, dude. How much more should they be expected to shoulder? At some point, you have to ask "when will the D show up for 4 qtrs and not give up 30"?
