    The good:
    1. It's over
    2. Juju represented
    3. Chuks is for real

    The bad:
    1. Game plan..... we played the #27 run defense in the league so naturally we throw 55 times
    2. We got gashed by Denver's running game
    3. We know better than to leave Emmanuel Sanders one on one regardless of who is covering him
    4. Naturally case Keenum had to find his Minnesota form against us

    The ugly:
    1. Ben's int's were total head scratchers
    2. Xavier Trimble had a chance to earn some serious trust, but instead probably earned a few splinters in his rear
    3. All of our fumbles

    The Good:
    Chuks O

    The bad:
    Turnovers
    Pass to run ratio

    The ugly:
All orange uniforms, would’ve been fine with the classic pants.

Bottom line: only stat that matters is wins. I’ll take an ugly win over a pretty loss anyday. I expect to be on the edge of my seat every week. Tomlin doesn’t live in fear of that.

    The Good:

Chukwuma Okorafor is the real deal. Assistance or not, he performed exceptionally well. Proud of him and yet another feather to Mike Munchak's resume. Should Gilbert not go again, Chukwuma should remain the choice.

Terrell Edmunds had his best game yesterday from a statistics standpoint. Rookie mistakes or not, he is getting more involved with the run defense and, for a Strong Safety, that is a good thing.

JuJu Smith Schuster is having one heck of a season. Dude can flat out play. Seems as if those Hines Ward comparisons were not that off after all.

Javon Hargrave is one of two bright spots from the 2016 class; Sean Davis being the other. He has established himself as a top three Nose Tackle in the league. He needs to be signed long term. For that matter, we need to switch to the 4-3 to unleash 100% of his capabilities.

Jaylen Samuels needs to be more involved in the passing game. He did come out of college as a multi role offensive weapon and it showed yesterday. In terms of his overall game, through two weeks, he has showed more than Conner did in his rookie season. That is not to say Samules is going to replace Conner (nor should he) but that does mean Pittsburgh has another offensive weapon.

Ryan Switzer continues to ascend in terms of his abilities to move the chains. This year's Mike Hilton. Dude just makes plays. The more opportunities he gets, the more the chains move.

    The Bad:

Turnovers as a whole killed us. While it would be appropriate to essentially put each fumble from each player down here, lumping them all up would be much more efficient and appropriate as it retains the same underlying theme: protect the football. The fewer turnovers a team has in a tight game, the better their chances of winning.

Pressure, or lack thereof from the outside. Denver's line is good but not that good. Why there was little pressure on the outside is beyond me. Granted, Watt and Dupree were hurt. Even before then though, there was little to no pressure. Remove the consistent pressure along the inside and only Vince Williams has the lone sack.

Gap containment and communication issues strike again. Last week for one half. This week all game long. Phillip Lindsay is quite the capable back. However, that does not negate the fact that gap integrity and communication should be afterthoughts. That cannot happen again.

    The Ugly:

Joe Haden had his worst day as a Steeler this season. Sure, Emmanuel Sanders does have some speed but Haden has dealt with speed based receivers before. Is Haden showing is age? I do not think so but it is fair to question that given what transpired yesterday.

Ben's bad pick in the endzone. As much as I want to lunge forward for the proverbial low hanging fruit, I will go for the proverbial high nutritional fruit instead and not reiterate what has been said. A bad play it was, so a bad ending was the result.

Conner not receiving many rushing attempts was by far my perosnal ugliest moment of the day yesterday. Interesting aspect is was that was initally happening early in the third quarter but was abandoned. Why remains to be seen. Just because you had success passing the ball does not mean you should not focus on balance. The teams that are balanced generally go very far into the playoffs. Hopefully this is merely an anomaly on Randy Ficthner and it will not resurface again.
