"Defense vs. offense. Goal line duel from 1 1/2 yards out. Best of seven. Loud collisions up front. Mike Tomlin: "Defense won."

"Goal line was uncommonly dull today. Too many second-teamers, and then play-action passes. Blech. Tradition is lost."

"Tomlin said Ben's OK, confirmed had his foot stepped on."

"Mike Adams, David DeCastro spent nearly entire practice with Steelers starters. Ramon Foster filled in as LG Willie Colon (ankle) sat out."

"Tomlin praised Mike Adams, said he's earned his time with the 1s. If Max Starks doesn't return soon, I'm predicting Adams starts opener."

"Now will be very surprised if David DeCastro doesn't start opener. He's picking up offense quickly, seems to rarely miss an assignment."

"DeCastro also is B-I-G, even by current NFL standards. Now see why Andrew Luck loved the guy."

"Emmanuel Sanders had a big day. Is benefitting not only from Mike Wallace's absence, but also from being healthy this camp."

I look so forward to these updates every day, thanks a ton TTF! I have to admit, I'm getting more juiced for preseason then years past, want to see how this all plays out. I think it's because I live in NY and in past years didn't have this type of connection to the team, even the old board was pretty much a ghost town in the offseason so I had no idea what was going on. You did a really good thing with this board TTF, gave Steeler fans a great home to come to
