Broncos/Steelers - have to share a funny situation

We live in the Denver area, but are life-long Steelers fans... including my 12-year-old boys. This morning, one of them was asked to be the Mini Miles Broncos mascot this weekend for the pregame. He is going to do it, because he's 12 and it's a funny experience... but decided he is wearing Steelers underwear and will wave a pretend Terrible Towel on the field.

 

So apparently you can put a Steeler fan into a Bronco but you can't take a Steeler fan out of his Steeler underwear...... Have fun with it....Go Steelers!

 

If he brings a real Terrible Towel and asks a Bronco fan to stomp on it, then we can get a curse put on them, LOL.

 

He's the ultimate infiltrator.

 

Cool as heck and now your post has embarrass me seeing how I am 50 years older then your boys and still wear my Steeler underwear. My wife has informed me I'm no longer the cat's meow in them

 

He could wear a #19 or #43 Steeler undershirt beneath his Bronco outfit and then we could all say "Beware of the Trojan Horse"!

 

Lmao.. aside from jinxing them by getting them to stomp on a real towel..
Gather up all the other Steeler Fans you know, and get them to root for us, the day of the game!!
We need all the good vibes we can get up in Denver!!

History hasn`t been kind to us there, and they have lost some close games, despite their record.
We CAN beat them, but we gonna have to play a lot better than last week!!

My dad is a Pittsburgh native. I inherited the gene from him without ever living in Pittsburgh myself. I moved to Denver with my family seven years ago.

 

If I caught my kid wearing another teams colors I’d beat his ass.

 

Keep on rooting for the black and gold, Steeler fans are probably invading as a type. LOL There is suppose
to be a heck uva a Steeler bar in Denver that they show on the TV here in PGH all the time when Steelers play
out in the Mile High City.

About 35 years ago I went to a sports type bar in Denver which was showing the Denver Steelers game. I wore a Steelers t shirt but wore a regular sweatshirt over it so I wouldn’t get beat up. They had a bunch of chairs in rows in front of a big projection screen. I was in the middle of the pack. For most of the game I kept my emotions in check and no one knew I was a Steelers fan. Then someone broke through and slammed Elway into the turf for a kick ass sack. Before I could stop myself I leaped up and yelled “nail that son of a *****”. Suddenly all eyes were on me. I slithered out the front door and left quickly.
