This is not shocking. I hope Landry was smart enough to know this was coming and fed them some misinformation, but given how the game went for the first three quarters, it appears he spilled like a pinata at a Little League party.

I feel bad for him because there are some jobs out there after yesterday's games and he had what 3 weeks invested in Jacksonville that were all part of Tom Coughlin's head game. Sad

They didn't have him last year... Jag offs are always a tough out and pick city opponent for Ben going years back. They pulled out the W and Landry had Jack to do with any of it.

You called it. I'm going to take even more pleasure in those a-holes missing the playoffs now.

I don't get why some fans seem to take pleasure in Landry failing , he did his job as a backup with the Steelers.

I kinda wish they had a little success so they would keep Bortles. If they had a competent QB with the talent they have they would be back in conversation of best teams in the nfl.

I agree. The guy was a fourth round pick, and to me, he performed adequately as a back up. He ended his time in Pittsburgh with an 86.2 QB rating. Great? No. But, not every mid to late round pick at QB will hit like Brady or Gannon, or even Matt Hasselbeck for that matter. LJ did everything asked of him while he was here, didn't ***** and moan and handled himself like a consummate pro. What more does anyone want? I hope someone picks him up.

    Washington should pick him up.
McCoy can't win that Division, but neither can he.

My post was mostly tongue in cheek. However, he was clearly signed as a source of information. Coughlin has a history of doing this, so much so that they changed the rules because of it. While I agree that the Jags are a bad matchup for the Steelers, to say that information gleaned from Landry had jack to do with how the Jags defenced our offense is naive.

Agree he did handle himself like a pro. But you got to admit, many people here had him way over rated. There were many arguments here about his QB abilities and how some thought he was one of the best back up QB in the league. Just my thoughts on dear in the head light Jones.

Don't want that. He is one of the reasons we won.

IMO, I still think he is better than what we have backing Ben right now. Total NFL passes of all current backup = 1. This might be one of the least experienced QB (back up) roster in the NFL right now.

Man, I truly thought Landry was actually going to unseat Bortles as the starter before the end of the year?

Specifically Myles "Jack". Although, if you carefully watch the slo-mo replay of BB's game ending TD dive, you'll see that BB did his best impersonation of Bussie flattening Urlacher and squishing his head except this pancake and squishing was of Myles Jack. :thumbs up:
