Damn you Dallas, that was supposed to be the Steelers first round pick in this past draft. He's looking good for Dallas, although he would look better in the black and gold. He had 13 tackles and a int against the Eagles.

They’ll probably be getting rid of Lee.
They got 2 guys in the middle last night that were awesome.

All the mocks had Dallas taking WR Calvin Ridley but they passed on him and he is playing well for the Falcons this year with 36 receptions and 7 TD's. So Dallas felt they had to make the trade for Amari Cooper.

I think Leighton Vander Esch would have helped our defense. The ILB's we have are capable but we need more speed.

I think Bostic led the team in tackles last game? He is not having too bad of season for a cheap FA.

Called this before the draft. Not surprised one bit he is doing as well as he is. He and Derwin James were my two favorites and both are performing much like I thought; James exceeding my expectations.

He and Jaylon Smith are going to terrorize the league for years to come. Both of them represent the direction NFL defenses are taking in terms of linebacking; Vander Esch especially.

Regarding our own in Terrell, he has done very well given his circumstances. I initially thought that Morgan Burnett would start so that Edmunds can be slowly implemented in. Well, it did not turn out that way but Terrell is showcasing some of those playmaking traits. Excited for him as this year goes on.

I too lobbied for LVE, go over to the draft site. I preferred his (SIZE) not one of these 220 pound linebacker.

they don't work against 300 -325 pound Professional lineman.

We were both pounding the drum for him. Was so disappointed when Dallas grabbed him, knew he'd be a good one.

Hopefully Edmunds lessens the sting. ILB will be high on next years draft, we'll have to find the next one!

Came across this in PFF top 10 rookies. Yup, you guessed it, LVE comes in at #5

Vander Esch currently ranks sixth among 94 qualifying linebackers this season in terms of overall grade, and he’s one of just four linebackers who currently own grades north of 80.0 in both run defense and pass coverage (putting him in a group with Bobby Wagner, Luke Kuechly and Zach Brown). The first-round pick is one of just nine linebackers who’ve recorded at least 20 run stops while missing no more than three tackles in run defense, and in coverage, he’s one of just four linebackers who’ve recorded at least 15 stops while also forcing an incompletion on at least five percent of the targets into his coverage.

Damn Cowboys. Please, TE, make this less painful.

I have a few rookie auto cards of him. Hate the cowgirls but hope he puts up good stats.
