i gotta feeling he's going to have to play a big role in the teams success this year. ben likes brown, and whats not to like, but he's going to see the double teams this year. sanders will get the next best corner and cotchery will then become the go to guy with the best chance to beat his man consistantly. i like the odds of that. this is all the thought process if wallace doesn't show. none of the young wr's seem to be making that claim at the # 4 spot as it sits. maze has shown some glimpses, but he's another small receiver. they have all been up and down though. cotch has the ability to take some pressure off the other two or at least beat a safety one on one with consistancy. sanders has been dropping balls in camp.

I think he will work out just fine, he has really good hands. Ward like not too fast
but nobody seems to catch him from behind?

I agree, Mac. His resigning was very important this offseason.

Here's a good interview with him on Tunch and Wolf this morning.~

He was real solid last year. Good underneath guy that's got good hands and gets open.

Even w/out Wallace, teams will now be keying in on Brown w/the double team. Opens up him, and tight ends.

I like where we're at as a team this year.

i think without wallace he's bens go to guy, like hines used to be. with wallace brown is that guy. right now cotch is going to be a big time target in this offense. i'm ok with that but we really lack depth right now.

With or without Wallace, Cotchery was a good sign. He fills the void for Ward and you need this type of receiver on the field, helps keep those opposing Ds honest.

Thanks for the interview link I enjoyed hearing from him.

I am with you both and the failure of Wallace to get to camp has elevated the game of Sanders and Cotchery......Cotchery is really a nice go to guy.......Very glad we got him signed...
