whats cookin? jags addition.

well it's mac's and mrs. mac's 29th anniversary. so............ time to beat the kitty's.

29 years ago she went to a cold cold game with me to watch my HS team mate and current tampa bay RB coach play the steelers. we played the chargers and he ran all over us that day. she froze but was a trooper and i knew she was it. we had been married about 23 hours at that point. agreeing to honeymoon in pittsburgh in late november and sit through a cold steeler game was all i needed to see. i knew she was one of us.

she's at work today and will miss this one but when she gets home i will have some stir fry ready for her. general tso's chicken with broccoli, one of her favorites, well besides me. as for the game, i'm feeling chicken strips and chips. go stillers

Direct tv messed up my billing and so I haven't paid it. I'll wait a bit and see if I get the game anyways. If so, It's just easy pizza bites. If not, we will head out to find the game and have some Wings. Making a big breakfast to get things started.

I met my wife in Chicago 34 years ago. When we got engaged I had a prenuptial agreement. She had to move to Pittsburgh, root for the Steelers and drink Iron City Beer.

We live north of the city and she has been going to games for 31 years.

I let her off of the Iron City part after she got sick the first time she tried it.

As for this boy well,chili is in the crock pot and ham and egg omelets were just devoured. Trying something new to "sip" on for the game, trying the 1911 hard cider. Pretty excited for today as the snow sits on the ground looking forward to watching a full day of football and snacking on some nice chili. Gonna keep an eye on the NASCAR race as well but the #1 thing today is a Steelers win!

 

It's amazing. Even if you don't have a smoker or charcoal grill, I highly, highly recommend this dough recipe. It's incredible, even if you aren't on a low carb diet. I use the coconut flour instead of almond flour. After doing it at very high heat on my smoker (with a pizza stone) it's the best pizza I've ever had, even better than what I've had in New York.
