The second day in a row he didn't practice. If he can't go Alualu has got to step up big against his former team. Stopping the run this week is priority number 1.

Conner, on the other hand, practiced again and looks good to go for Sunday.

Just when you thought he got over always being injured or maybe he's seeing Fournette in his sleep again.

Tuitt was on the field last time we played Jax... but it was like he really wasn't there. Same with Heyward.

The Steelers actually are paying Alualu pretty decent money

On March 21, 2017, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed Alualu to a two-year, $6 million contract that includes $1.75 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $1.25 million

Not bad money to be chilling on the bench. A former 1st round pick, expecting some production. Shouldn't see a huge drop off.

He's been playing about 22 snaps a game, so he's earning at least some of that coin.

Nice. To be honest, they just need to keep LT Walton off the field. Sure Cam and Tuitt didn't have a good game, but Walton was terrible.

If Alualu plays better then him, it's a positive.

Tuitt has reverted back to his 2016 form. The injury last year did affect his performance! Hope he can play as we need to stop fournette!Their record may not indicate it but the Jags will be a tough game as it always comes down to matchups.

Not good news. Tuitt has been playing solid.

Tomlin said the injury could limit him early in the week. As usual, the real test is Friday's practice. If he can't go then, he's not playing Sunday and that is a significant blow to the defense.

There are many factors that have led to the improved play of the defense in recent weeks, such as benching Burns, but the real key has been health. Burnett finally seemed to be back at full speed, so they finally had everybody available. Unfortunately, that lasted all of two weeks.

Tuitt don't need to be on the field unless he's 100%. Too many players playing hurt killed the defense last year.

I tore my bicep a few years back...I've been back to lifting for awhile now but, It just doesn't feel right...Certain movements and I can feel the strain, almost like it's gonna tear again...

Taking on 300+ pound lineman, would make this 10 fold...He has had bicep and elbow problems for awhile now...

I know bicep and tricep problems ultimately ended Aaron Smiths career...But this was after many years in the league...I'm just hoping these arm woes don't continue/ cut short a career...Of what seems to be a talented player

I'm not sure the current elbow issue is at all related to the biceps tear last season. Is it even the same arm?

The timing really sucks. It could disrupt what has been working for the defense and the Jaguars aren't going to do what the Panthers did last week. They are going to keep pounding away with the run until the Steelers stop it, and they will likely keep trying for a while even then.

Maybe more reps for Hargrave. He has been playing well against the run in his limited snaps. Slide Hargrave over to DE and use Big Dan to stop the run. It's about time he steps up....

Hmmm...Didn't think of that...Coming out Tuitt was touted as a top 20 pick, missed his season year or most if I remember because of an injury...That I also think cost him the combine and pro days...I believe that is why the Steelers scooped him up in the 2nd...Great talent " when " healthy

I heard that both injuries were caused by a defensive back hitting his arm. Tuitt wanted to know what was up with that.
