And Ben has a broken index finger on his left hand. No doubt the Ravens will be looking to hit that hand, and Ben, often and hard.

Ravens just got shellacked by the Panthers but you know they will play us physical. Their OL will look to enforce the run, like they did in our first meeting. Their DL shut down Conner last game too.

This is a must-win to keep us in 1st. Bengals likely lose to the Saints this week so a win here to put some space between us would be HUGE.

That is what I assumed it would be. We now have sports betting in AC, NJ and this is a game I'm staying far away from.

I thought it might be more. I know the Ravens lost their last two, but they beat the Steelers fairly soundly and teams usually get three points for home field.

I thought the Steelers might be favored by a point or two simply because the Ravens have looked pretty bad the last two weeks.

Feeling mum. Signs pointing to them sweeping but we will see.

Not the end of our season if we lose unless Ben gets badly hurt.

Ravens could be as bad as the browns and they will give us trouble.

We won last year 26-6 because Flacco was messed up in his back, usually close games

Good. Would like to know what their record is when the underdog. They seem to play better.

The Ravens defense got exposed the last 2 games, with AB and JuJu getting attention from the Ravens it could be a big game for Vance and Jesse. Although with the Ravens being home their defense is likely to play better.

They looked bad against the Panthers. Against the Saints, they were playing one of the top three or four teams in the league and battled back for what should have been the tying touchdown. The best kicker in the league missed a PAT for the first time as a pro. I don't think they looked that bad at all.

The Steelers are going to have to play a lot better this time around. The good news is they are better now than they were at the time of the first meeting.

They are winners as underdogs 7-4 and they havent lost a road game since sept 2017, I like their chances in this game:

    sports chat:

The Pittsburgh Steelers look to build on their three-game winning streak to keep pace in the AFC North. The Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t lost a road game since September of 2017. Ben Roethlisberger is completing 65.3 percent of his passes for 2,290 yards, 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Roethlisberger has two or more touchdown passes in 12 of his last 16 games. JuJu Smith-Schuster and Antonio Brown have combined for 1,146 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns while James Conner has 31 receptions. The Pittsburgh Steelers ground game is averaging 88.7 yards per contest, and Conner leads the way with 599 yards and nine touchdowns. Defensively, Pittsburgh is allowing 25.7 points and 380.2 yards per game but have only allowed 18 points in their last 3 wins. Jon Bostic leads the Pittsburgh Steelers with 41 tackles, T.J. Watt has seven sacks and Cameron Sutton has one interception.

Betting the Steelers to win and giving the Ravens 3 points is a good bet in my eyes. They are worth another 1,000.00 bet this week so I bet them this morning.

We have positive momentum, they have negative momentum. However, it is a must win for them. Should be a push spread IMO.

Shows how much the strokes have messed with me. It is giving the Steelers the 3 points not giving the 3 points to the Ravens.Good thing I have someone in better shape than me making the actual bets for me in Vegas. It is okay to screw up on the pickem pool or in a post on here but I'm not interested in screwing up any of my real bets.

I agree that should be a much better bet. I've learned to accept life as it is after the strokes.
It is no fun because of everything being either impossible or very difficult but looking around
it could be much much worse. As long as I can take care of my animals and continue to try
and help a couple of animal shelters a bit with some winnings from some luckey wagers it will
be okay. Should not have to worry about things much longer.

Panthers are very good. Wouldn't be surprised if they somehow won the nfc.

3 points is the home field advantage - looks like odds have the game even all else considered. That is probably spot on.

As to physical...its been the Steelers OL, Conner, and Vance that have been bulldozers the last couple of games. Feed those guys early. Feed them often. Good things in the mid to downfield routes will open.

My only fear is more "communications" issues on defense. Hopefully last week was a sign things are improving (even if by subtraction of burnts)
