Good, hope he's late the rest of the season. The defense is better without him.

Yeah, bring more negative attention to yourself, Artie. If ANY player should be showing up early and staying late for practices, meetings or other team activities, one would think it would be Burns.

Trade him for a 6th round pick to any team willing to take him.

Burns has a poor attitude, can hear it in his answers and now is late.

Kid is going down in flames.

I'm sure the trade rumors about Conley and Jenkins didn't help his confidence and you don't trade for a back up. He may be checking out already.

It's too early to give up on him. My hope is 2018 will be the year that our DB coach tear him down and builds him back up. Fact of the matter is we need his depth. If or I should say WHEN there's an injury we will need him to make the playoffs. He has to get his head straight. If he doesn't this season then I hope the FO takes that Bell $ and puts it into a FA DB. We clearly have no ability to draft or develop CB's.

This must be the 'tear him down' phase.

Ike Taylor went down a similar path to Burns, and he turned out some what decent.

just so people know Artie Burns' mother died at a relatively young age 44, and he had to take care of the family, younger siblings from college to the pros, I would like to see Burns make the plays we thought he could and watching and playing w Haden you wld think wld help

A sad story, but just like Shamarko Thomas having a sad life story doesn't change the fact that he can't play football at a NFL level.
