The Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line is why Le'Veon Bell is the best RB in the NFL. James Conner has 94 rushing yards and 66 passing yards for 160 total yards and the game is not over. Mike Shanahan knew the O-line is the key to superior RBs. Did I say Bell was the best RB? Not any more!!!!!

In fairness I think the idiot is great or should I say use to be great. If you want to know what an O-line means to a team just ask Eli Manning.

Bell is the Ultimate Steeler.....He has done more for the Steelers this year than any other player. He saved the Steelers so much cap space this year...and maybe 17 mill a season long term.

Bell might actually be the MVP at this point.

Totally agree, but does cap space this year mean anything if they don’t make a trade? I figured it was just more money in the Rooney’s pockets.

I hope they pay Connor, bells salary this year that he’s forfeited with a signing bonus or whatever they gotta do. He’s earned it.

On a side note just think how good our team would be if we coulda used that 14 mil on say 2 other spots on our team this year.

Bell has saved a lot of teams money. He just showed the league that you can get a productive RB for a lot less money than Bell thought he was worth.

I believe cap space can carry over, but I'm not nearly well versed enough in the NFL salary cap to be sure.

Todd Gurley of the Rams is the best RB in the league seems to me.

Yes Bell's 14 mil counts right now which means right now we have 9+mil of space. Now when Bell signs depending when I am thinking Wednesday the number of week he missed times 855,529 will open up us that much more space in 2019! So right now we have another 6.8mil to use next year making our total space over 16 mil. When was the last time we had that much space wow, and we aren't missing anything with the way JC is playing.

JC is 3rd in yards about 20 less than Zeke. 2nd in tds with 9.

Rushing and receiving yards JC is 2nd.

Gurley is on another level lol. Like 15 total tds 200 more rushing yards

They aren't going to rescind the tag. They will not and should not reward Bell's bad decisions by giving him what he wants. He can help this team as a part-time player down the stretch. I just hope the Steelers are smart enough to keep the ball in Conner's hands.

What he wants and only wants is money. Don't give him any. He has already lost $6 mil and counting. Having him on the team with Conner still having the ball in his hands is not worth nearly a $ million a week with little to no ROI. He would be a media nightmare like before and we don't need that at all now or anytime in the future.

Not true Bell's tag number is counting on our cap right now and that is why we get cap relief next year. Are we spending money no but his number is still there.
