Washington will be fine...... we drafted a deep threat when our starting qb is having issues with his deep ball due to his elbow injury.... I think we can call this a redshirt yr

    This.

Of the concerns I have with James, seperation and physicality are not among them.

As mytake and Blast stated, too many other factors are in play at present. Too early to throw in the towel on young James yet. The bye week could not have come at a better time no less.

If he is getting consistently better in his abilities such as the seperation like the .GIF above, no reason to assume he will not improve in other areas the same.

Washington & Hunter are non-factors because Ben is using them as decoys. Right now Ben's options is Brown, JuJu, tight ends, & then Connor. IMO, our best deep threat is Hunter because he got decent speed & he's tall & we have seen him make plays. Another weapon we don't use is Jaylen Samuels...

I think Washington will be fine, but this might not be his year...

LevBell in the slot would be pretty sweet, Eli Rodgers comeback possibly?

There are only so many footballs to go around, I think he will be fine.

I predict Washington will have his break-out game in week 9 vs. Ravens. 2 TDs, 120 yards... AB gets pissed.

That all makes sense, especially the part about Brown being pissed.

The Ravens have seen the Steelers go heavy on passes to the tight end. That was a big part of the second game against Baltimore last season. I'm not sure if that same vulnerability will be there again.

When I saw he was built like a RB, I never really saw him as a deep threat. I know Ben really isn't looking his way either.

Then they would have to make a roster move, to make room for Eli just leave him on IR for now.
