Hardly. All they say is he's ok but he's not Bell and you cant grind him. He proves week in and week out that he's reliable

True. And that’s not a hindrance. A lot of us have complained that he’s an overused piece in the offensive game plan.

JAMES CONNER IS A TOP 5 BACK IN THIS LEAGUE RIGHT NOW!!!! He is that damn good. This is his team now, IMO. Bell should remain inactive unless there is an injury.

Conner is legit. Giving the offense exactly what they need from the RB spot. His pass protection is leaps and bounds better than last preseason.

Except he wasn't running, he was walking and wheezing. And it wasn't the gym, it was a strip club. And he wasn't working out, he was eating tacos.

Conner really is good. Between his agility, ability to drive in short-yardage situations and the Steelers' crazy good line, he's the real deal.

Some of my favorite Twitter posts of the day. Indirectly what I have been stating all along.

However, much of what Twitter has stated further reinforces what the likes of me and notable others have stated. James was not the issue during those losses. Falling behind early and inadequate blocking were to blame. Give him the blocking and he will obtain the yards needed.

James Conner should, and likely will, be the starter, going forward. Give Conner some breaks and have Bell fill in those situations.

    Yep.

Every running back needs it. It is a symbiotic relationship. No binaries.

One cannot exist without the other; extreme circumstances being the only major factor.

Example of the aforementioned comment? SaQuon Barkley.

Agree, they played good today...I thought they regressed early in the season, but glad I was wrong. Getting Gilbert and DD another week together with the line has helped too.

He may not count against the roster, but don't he still get paid? I suspect that's all he cares about.
