Huge two game today in this game in Cincy...

I really believe the Steelers chances of winning this division or having a legit chance to still win it ride on this game today. A win and you go to 3-2-1 and drop the Bengals to 4-2 and pull within a half game of them with a head to head victory in your back pocket. A loss and you are 2-3-1 and the Bengals are 5-1 and you are 2.5 games behind Cincy with a head to head loss to them in your back pocket. So needless to say it’s a huge huge game today for the Steelers to win.


Looking at the other teams in the divisions schedules the next few weeks makes it even more critical to win today because the Steelers will probably get a lot of help. The Bengals play at KC next week, the Ravens play at Tenn today and then New Orleans next week, and the Browns play the Chargers which is never easy and then are at Tampa next week before coming here the following week. So this is the opportunity today for the Steelers to get right back in this division race today. They gotta have this win in my opinion today it’s almost a MUST.

Zero reason to lose this game.... Completely healthy , especially in secondary. And the bengals lost eifert last week who is a steeler killer.

 

Absolutely agree. This is a massive game for both teams. I could be wrong, but I think we'll make the playoffs if we win today. A lot can happen in between now and week 16, but I think this is as big as it gets for us.

 

The bottom line is winning within the division. They are already behind the 8 ball with the stupid tie with the clowns and the loss to the crows.

Lose today and the window starts to close.

This was a huge two game swing as I pointed out this morning that the Steelers needed. At 3-2-1 now to the Bengals 4-2 and owning a head to head win over the Bengals on the road, with the Browns losing today and the Ravens even if they do win today and get to 4-2 the Steelers are right back in the thick of this division race. The Bengals play at KC next week and the Ravens play home to the Saints next week then at Carolina the following week. So the schedule sets up well for the Steelers after the bye these next few weeks. Huge win today can’t say it enough.

 

With a tie unless we’re up against another team with a tie head to head will never be a factor.

 

They need the Ravens to lose one of their next two games, then if the Steelers beat the Browns and Ravens coming up first place is ours.
