One improvement I noticed

I think this was the first game of the season where we didn't have double digit penalties.

 

I also think this was the first clean game out of Boswell. Hopefully his confidence is now back.

 

At this point the only reason to watch a Steeler game is to see if Vance McDonald trucks more defenders

 

They didn't give up over 40 at home either

 

They won the 2nd Qtr.

 

I'm not sure if that means we played better, or if the refs just decided they were going to call the penalties differently this game.

The inconsistencies in calls across the NFL are staggering right now.

 

Of course, when we DO commit penalties, we do it with flair.... 12 men on the field on a rare 3rd and 11 for Baltimore, followed by the predictable pitch and catch crossing route, and my personal favorite coming out of Renegade when we have Baltimore backed up at their own 8....an illegal hands to the face on defense..... albeit thrown by a referee 40 yards from the play.... followed by the predictable pitch and catch crossing route.....
