Anyone notice that the last 2 weeks, aside from pouncey, our entire starting o-line has been made up of undrafted free agents, and Ben is still able to stand tall in the pocket.... looks like we may be more than just a wr factory

Munch has definitely maximized the talent that he has been given. But we definitely need to invest some draft capital in the offensive line this upcoming draft imo. Mostly on the interior, G & C. We have Chuks and an injured Hawkins for the Ts, but I think we need one G/C combo guy for when Foster hits the road. Finney can take over there but we need another guy.

The o-line keeps that offense humming, you add one more top prospect on the interior and you solidify that area for when Ben retires and/or Munch leaves for whatever reason (personal, OC, HC)

we need a center for sure. a guy that can step in at guard but center worthy. pouncey is getting up there in years in the league too. getting a center in the munch pipeline for a couple of years wouldn't be a bad thing this draft. i do think feiler played pretty well at right tackle. he hasn't been playing tackle much the last couple of years. they have been teaching him the interior spots so i think he did pretty well.

Agree with both turtle and mac daddyo. The offensive line will need restocked soon.

Assuming we do come to terms with a Le'Veon Bell trade, I would assume one of those picks are going on an interior lineman; Center most likely to groom behind Pouncey.

Time marches on and we need to prepare for both Foster and Pouncey getting up in years.
I like Finney but he can't play G and C at the same time.
Foster might be done after this year or next, do we replace him with a 330 lb roadgrader or an athletic guy like DC.

I think the line did alright but the run blocking and the offensive balance should improve when our first string guys return.

with the way the game is evolving, you have to go with the more athletic guy imo. Lineman are rarely just lining up and drive blocking guys out of the way. The blocking is more shielding guys to one side and/or pulling and moving on to the next level or kicking guys out of the hole.
