Man was Ben good tonight. He made the big plays as usual when they absolutely needed him too.

It was nice to see him throw his helmet on the back shoulder to Brown that Brown totally mentally farted on in the 4th Q. That’s raw emotion from a WB that can hear his internal clock ticking down on him. Shows me somebody gives a damn which I was seriously doubting.

He disagrees. He just apologized to AB for that in his postgame presser

To me, Ben has looked like vintage Ben. Scramble out and make a key pass downfield on 3rd down.
The ints suck. But damnit, if the defense can get it together, this version of Ben can get us to #7.

Up to the rest of the team **cough defense cough** to get it together.
For one half, they played the top rated QB in the league very well. Then they...didn’t. Still won. That’s something.

Conner had crucial yards when it counted in the 4th. That’s the litmus test for me. Being able to run successfully when the other team knows you’re going to run.

Big Ben may have looked just as good in the first two games, as he did against Tampa Bay, if they would have just given him his playing time in the preseason. Just sayin'
But, I kinda feel sorry for him. The running game needs to be more consistent. And, Ben does some great things to put up points, but the defense has been giving them right back to the opposing teams. A quarterback of his stature should be surrounded by a better team.

Ben to AB down field needs to improve. I have faith that they will get there.

Say what you will but it was Bradshaw, long wait, Ben and we can only hope we don't have another wait like that.

That's the thing. The Steelers offense and defense essentially played for one half - and still won against a team playing some pretty good ball right now. Imagine what they could do if they played 3 quarters, or dare I say it, a whole game! They could really blow some teams out. Oh, to dream...

Last night he made the int which was bad but was also a nice play by the safety and was close to being a completion. It wasn't really much worse of a throw and decision than the big completion to JuJu late in the game. He also held onto the ball too long and took a stupid sack. Finally, he missed a few deep throws. He's been doing that so far this year but I think he will get it straightened out. Arm strength certainly does not look to be an issue. Anyway, other than those plays he was basically perfect. Great showing. I just wish they had managed to eek out some actual points in the second half. If Ben hadn't taken the sack Boswell would have had an easier FG attempt and he barely missed the one he ended up with. I really hope Ben and the offense are working their way into a groove. Just need to get AB and Ben really on the same page and get Ben to connect on a couple deep throws and I think things will really open up. Having McDonald back is huge.

I was pretty worried after McCoy knocked him down & Ben got up massaging his throwing elbow. Thought our season could be over.

an elbow injury, just like Bradshaw, would be the worst.

He should get an emmy as well for going down from that pat on the helmet, would have thought he was hit with a ball bat instead of a tap, good acting job ben.

Sort of agree about going down with the pat on the helmet, but then I remembered that he is the guy who had his fingers blew off and he now wears a club on that hand.

It's been 3 years since his accident and he only wore the soft cast until his hand healed, this is him now:
