Wasn’t it an elbow that did Terry Bradshaw in?

Couldn’t be worst than 5 turnovers vs Cleveland. Hell he can have my elbow and accomplish that

I was just going to say this is what led to the demise of Bradshaw's career.

If Ben isn't 100%, they should sit him. They won't because they've never done it previously, but Ben has shown in the past that he is incapable of playing well when injured.

It's a bigger deal than tomlin makes it out to be, ben will be limited in practice this week, and if he isnt practicing later in the week thats a major concern:

    nfl com:
As you can tell, Tomlin seemed to downplay the injury at every possible turn. It’s true Big Ben is usually limited early in the week. If he’s still limited from practice or sidelined altogether later in the week, that’s when this will become a larger concern.

Even then, any time we’re talking about the throwing arm, there has to be a certain level of worry. Big Ben is among the toughest quarterbacks in the NFL. He’s also 36 years old and has been through the ringer in his career.

Following Sunday’s brutal overall performance, Pittsburgh faces an even tougher opponent in that of the Kansas City Chiefs at home in Week 2.

I still remember that game and seeing Bradshaw coming off the field, clutching his arm and in obvious pain, after the second touchdown pass.

The Browns have a better defense than the Chiefs imo. Offense, the Chiefs have enough to make it a shoot-out.

Maybe the Steeelers are tying to keep KC from preparing for Dobb's ? I think Ben is probably really hurt and not just a minor thing ...I hope he ok , but I fear he is not.

I watched the game and the play live as Bradshaw got his career ending injury. I seem to remember Bradshaw came into the game fairly late and as soon as he did the air came out of the Jets. His last throw, I remember him running quickly off the field holding his arm. Before he came in there was a lot of speculation if he could even play.

Well we all knew the day is coming sooner than later that Bens reign under center would come to a close. I hope he retires at the end of a season but if it's going to be an injury that does it better early in the season so our new QB gets a season of work in.
