I live in Iowa and I am planning to ng to bring the family over for the Atlanta game. Does anyone know if anything special is going on? Their is only 1 game where the tickets are more expensive. Is there a reason this game is more expensive than the Baltimore game? Any info is greatly appreciated

Steelers now do a sliding scale on season tickets. The better the opponent/rivalry more expensive ticket goes up.

Example: The Patriots game is most expensive face value ticket, then the Falcons game, then Baltimore.

Browns game is like the cheapest I think.

I think Steelers were think two high flying offenses, the game is at 1 pm, that is why the ticket price is a little higher.

Other than that I know of nothing special happening at that game.

    Hope that helps!

I believe it's because they're anticipating another tie against Atlanta (like 2002) and two ties in the same year since the merger would be some kind of record?

Welcome to the Board Matt, please ignore what Mojave says and listen to what Troybellringer had to say. BTW, green font means don't take it serious, it's joshing or sarcasm which in this case was joshing but since it was your first post, it was probably inappropriate. You'll like it here if you don't mind some occasional ribbing and a slew of grumpy Monday morning QBs (even on Saturday night).

Thanks for the info. Was just a little surprised the game cost more than Balt.

Unless you speak Czechoslovakian, I kind of doubt it Matt. What's nice is that our Chief here has installed nice filters to blank that stuff out. If you prefer unfiltered, head over to SteelerFury.com which is almost unreadable IMO it's so over the top profane. Look at you, you've quadrupled your postings in a single day. You've almost reached BlountForceTrauma's record breaking pace when I believe he went from 10,000 to 20,000 posts in a single afternoon. ;)

Fans love the 1 and 4pm starts. The Baltimore game is a sunday nighter, sometimes, those are a harder draw. Rooney hates home primetime games. He was glad this was a year when there weren't as many home prime time games.

I don't prefer prime time games here in the Eastern Time Zone, since I usually have to work the next day. 1pm and 4pm games are perfect. I bet prime time games are awesome for you fans that live on the west coast.

Night games are good - 5pm start times out here and are over well before 9pm (with all the extra prime time commercial breaks). Hate the 4:05 or 4:25 starts because often they are shown on local network affiliate stations and blacked out on Direct TV and we are at the mercy of the networks charades of covering long running early games and delaying the later games and/or switching over to another more popular game mid-4th qtr. This never happens when it's run on DTV - get to see entire game from start to finish including OT tie games.
