I told the old lady he was going to miss to the left. He barely made the extra points to the left.

I disagree, they lost the turnover battle 6 to 1 that's the only reason Cleveland got back into the game. When it was 21-7 I think Ben and Conner turned it over on consecutive series, preparation doesn't have nothing to do with the Browns tying the game up.

had to hold my breath every time Ben made a throw or got any pressure, he gave the game away it wasn't on the coaches period. Also, garret was abusing AV. Ben looked down right terrible no clue how anyone can put this on the coaches

He tried to explain it after somebody accused him of throwing shade on the Steelers, he said he never seen a tie game before.

Lot's of animosity towards Tomlin, I get it. But, Ben was putrid. Then the ant-Tomlin contingent claims it's on Tomlin for not playing Ben and AB more in the pre-season. Really, you're going to try and convince people that another 15 minutes of pre-season football makes Ben, a 14 year veteran, throw for 300 yards and four TD's with no picks? Sorry, I don't buy it.

Garret is pretty good and AV is the weak link

Don't get me wrong. Ben deserves the brunt of the blame. But some of it is due to rust. Rust that could have been prevented.

So many penalties and sloppy plays. Always a reflection on the coaching. You can't praise the HC for wins and then say he's blameless when the team craps the bed. Doesn't work like that.

They would just rather go with the lazy analysis instead, blame the coaches even when the team loses the turnover battle 6 to 1.

You can't all say the browns arent good and we play down to competition while praising connor for playing pretty good against a "bad team"

Good thing you aren't a Patriots fan, Belichick doesn't give you anything in his pressers either he just stands there and mumbles.

I agree, it shouldn't have mattered to be honest, but that ball definitely hit Chubbs' helmet. Not sour grapes at all, but even a blind man could see that this game was terribly officiated.

He is annoying the way he dodges questions with his sarcastic answers. But I understand he probably gets asked dumb stuff nonstop.

I'd love to see how Ben would handle it if Tomlin made him play more than he wants to in the preseason. It amazes me that people want to blame Tomlin for a completely awful performance from our 14 year veteran franchise QB. This game is on Ben. He played like crap and it cost us. For sure there were other things that contributed but it is amazing we even had a chance with all the turnovers.

The Browns had one decent drive the whole game, the rest was gifted to them by us. That chit happens next week we'll be 0-1-1.

Bottom line: It was a sloppy game. It was an underachieving game in a few ways.

But it's also the first game of the season. You can never take much away from it. Good or bad. Teams that look like world beaters in week 1 often fail to make the playoffs. Many teams need a month of games to hit their stride.

    Just get better.

You don't need to tip your hand but when you say you haven't looked at the film yet and they effort put forth on game day backs up that statement it is hard not to believe that you hadn't looked at the tape.

Obviously 2 series all of pre-season isn't enough. Timing and confidence are big factors. Ben shouldn't be working on that during the season. It should already be there.
