Not everyone feels as the offensive line does. If Bell signs, hope they can put this behind them. You can still win with a fractured locker room, but it doesn't help.

I don't see it as division. Just AB trying to stay positive and maybe smooth over the rough feelings.

You think this topics going away Sunday? :roflmao:

Anyway, I wanted to spark a separate discussion about the affects of being able to win with a divided locker room. I disagree with Ray, now the line will be sore at AB for sticking up for Bell, making them look like poor teammates. There will clearly be two factions in that locker room, young immature social media types like AB and Bell and those who are sick of it like the line. Notice it’s the line that speaks about that type of behavior the most.

They’ll be fine as long as they are winning.

I agree with this completely. This is AB trying to keep the family together. He's also on record as saying LB should be in camp(last year). AB showing some real maturity here.

I'm not sure where your coming from here. Nothing AB said comes across as sticking up for Bell. This is AB trying to unify, not divide.

What Bells agent said the other day was a crushing blow IMO. He publicly said Bell is more worried about his health than playing for the Steelers. I mean that destroys all trust and credibility on how hard he is willing to play. If he could gain an extra two yards or step out of bounds what will he do? If he has a minor injury that he could play through would he?

To me there is no coming back from that. It’s over and time to move on. How can you play a guy who is literally saying I don’t want to be overused so I’m holding out. F him

Wasn't that Phillys rallying cry last year. Hopefully we can parlay that into a SB win too....

Personally, I think calling the lockerroom divided because of AB’s tweet is tiptoeing the capt clickbait line.

AB is like... you better not pay him that much. if Steelers does then...

"breaking news Antonio Brown is holding off camp until they meet his demands of 200 million guaranteed"
" breaking news Ben will not play week 5 until Rooney signs the Steelers team to him"

I guess you can say AB/Ben/Bell had their share of drama.

Ben with the motorcycle, allegations, plus drama queen for every hit lol
AB with the holdout, patriots video fiasco, Gatorade container etc

Only thing is AB/Ben seem to learn and try to correct it. All we get from Bell is "Woah"

like wtf is woah supposed to mean? "woah bro you are coming to harsh at me, here take a hit and chill". or "woah I cant deal with this stress right now so I'm gonna smoke a bowl".

Hope you are right because I can't remember any team recently calling out a current teammate like the line just did and clearly not everyone agrees with them.

JH was already gone when he got roasted. They may have to play with Bell again.

Sticking up wrong choice of words, embracing maybe? Whatever you have to do, you do, we're here when you get back.

Line clearly doesn't feel that way.

Reminds me of Franco Harris nearing the end of his career. He did all he could to avoid the big hit even if it cost the team a first down but I sure the hell am not holding it against him. Bell is a different story, absolutely great but his party should be over in the Burgh.

My question would be, why would any team want a guy like Bell on their team. Are they really going to be willing to spend tens of millions on a guy they know is not going to give 100 percent? I am sure someone will roll the dice and sell their souls, probably because they think they can change him. If the Steelers can't I don't see who could. You know that playing for a team that can win a title is not going to mean anything to Bell so what can teams actually sell him on besides money? If I were a team owner, there is no way I want a player like that on my team. As the players like to say, it is just not good business.

If the Browns win and our run game is shut down for under 100 yards. The locker room will get heated.
