    Yes a deal ill get done tomlin isn't going anywhere hell he considers himself a yinzer now

    There's a club option for 2013 which the club will exercise, so effectively Tomlin has 2 years remaining on his contract. Not worried about it yet, but the team can not allow him to go into the 2013 season without an extension. We can't have a lame duck coach leading the Pittsburgh Steelers, that wouldn't be right. There's nothing worse for a coach, and players don't like having lame duck coaches either.

    Money is tight? Coaches salaries don't come out of the player salary cap.

    But I think they will get it done as usual...no need to worry here! :yeehaw:

    Typically though, this is when the Steelers address their coaches contracts. But I agree, can't let him walk.
