Probably more work than in years past. Haley knows us well. Their owner knows us well. Hubbard knows us well. They are very good off the edges. We are down TEs for help in blocking. Bell is rusty in pass blocking most likely.

What is our game plan going to be in this one? Chuks to help out? Nix to play more? We must protect Ben in this one.

Joe Thomas is gone so I see they have Joel Bitonio as LT. I always thought he was a guard, but I may be mistaken...

Either way, I hope Dupree makes the opener for him a rough one. They should test him hopefully

We will be favorite. But I'm not sure if Cleveland winning would be a huge shock or upset. They've got some good players.

Ben has something to prove to Haley. Mark my words. It will be a slaughter of epic proportions.

Time of possession will be key for Steelers this year. No turnovers
for us, play ball and see what happens.

No huddle the s*** out of them, run it up and then pound them down. This Offense needs to come out firing and never look back. Not just against the clowns but going forward.

It's the defense I am more interested in. How will the secondary respond? Can Dupree actually stay healthy and take it to the next level? How will the patchwork ILB rotation work? The strength lies with the D Line and either Tuitt or Heyward can't be lost to injury.

The clowns will play us to the hilt and seem to have gotten a bit better.

    Can't wait it's a TV game where I live!

I never thought of that angle. I like it. Ben trying to do too much and force things sometimes goes array. I'd love to see us come out blazing though.

The strategy is simple ,just take what Haley would do and do the opposite......Haley had his moments.
Just run a lot of fake bubble screens....

I'm concerned that Williams will come up with some new wrinkle on defense that confuses Ben just enough to slow the offense down. Remember week 1 last year where he put 10 guys tight to the line with a single safety playing 20-25 yards deep. It just seemed to confuse everyone because of all that space.

The showing up Haley thing concerns me because when Todd tried that he got too cute and outsmarted himself to the tune of some horrible game plans. So I hope RF and Ben make a plan.to atrack and not just to show up Todd

Right thorn. Don't try to out cute Haley. Go fast and protect Ben. Being down Hilton, Vance, Burnett is not going to help if they are indeed out. Nix may play a large role in this game. Can't wait to get this started.

Big Ben has the most wins in First Energy Stadium in NFL history. Ben is also 22-2 against the Stains.

Can AV block garrett is a big question mark for me and can conner block him if he gets around the edge, I dont expect Bell to even show up for this game and if he does he wont be ready to block anybody or do anything meaningful in catching and running....

At best, Bell will only have a short week of practice. At worst, he won't play. It's tough to know what, if anything, we will see of Watt, Hilton, Burnett and McDonald. I've got a bad feeling about this.

Only one on your list that concerns me is TJ and he was back practicing last week. The rest are role players. Although if pressed I'd say Burnett is 1B after Watt

TJ certainly especially considering how thin we are at OLB but don't disregard the importance of Burnett. If he can't go we will be relying on 2 rookies, 2 journeyman and a player who barely got any reps at a new position . Combine that with a OC that knows are tendencies and weaknesses and our pass D can be in a world of trouble. The pass rush will need to be getting home frequently...

Works the opposite way as well, they know Haley''s tendencies as well. Is there as news on Burnett? I know they held him out of the 3rd game and I'd assume he wasn't scheduled to play on Thursday so he should rested and practcing

Browns are hungry and the Killer Bees come in rusty as $hit.
We'll need a miracle to pull out a win.

Browns are always hungry, and yet we still manage to beat them every year with our B team. People forget, hungry or not, they are just not that good.

I wonder if Finney starts over Foster for this first game?

I expect the Browns to be improved. They won’t go 0-16, they could be a possible .500 team They spent some coin to get some talent in. I expect the Steelers D to play well, everyone is writing them off, I think they got something to prove.

I expect Connor has something to prove. Being that Bell didn’t report who knows if he even plays?

Brownies even when bad can play us though.

Turnovers, special teams play, can be a deciding factor.

But, Steelers are going to be favored.
