Steelers could help cause a riot in Cleveland

Bud light has pledged free beer to Browns fans if the win 1 game this season. They placed 10 coolers each which will contain 200 cans of beer around the stadium. 2000 beers for a stadium that hold 68k.

So if Ben doesn't play and LJ can't manage a win in week 1 the city of Cleveland may make mad max look like a trip to Disney land.

You can't make this stuff up.

 

So it will be a BUD fight at the no way corral. Featuring Wyatt slurp and Doc swallowday.

 

Ben will play.

 

I expect a nail biter up there at the mistake by the lake.

 

Forget the free bud light. If they beat the Steelers every liquor store within 5 miles of the stadium will be smashed and looted. Once they sober up they will immediately be looking to buy Superbowl tickets.

 

I guess they didn't learn from the Cleveland Indians 10 cent beer night back in the 70's that resulted in a full scale riot.

 

I thought they did this in Cleveland anyhow to cope with their team?

 

There are rules that apply to get the free beer, the coolers are placed at different bars in the area, the customer has to be at the bar before the game ends and have their ID checked to verify they are 21 to qualify, so there wont be any free beer at the stadium....

Given their recent past, they should be dishing out bottles of Moet...with the added advantage they contain alcohol

Anybody got an updated Browns QB Jersey? That thing is hysterical.

 

If they drafted Bradley Chubb and Quenton Nelson, then I would be concerned.


However, considering that is not the case, I personally have little to no worry.

 

I think the browns are will be competitive with us the first game as we didn’t really blow them out the two games last year.They still suck but will be better than last year which isn’t saying much being they didn’t win a game last year! Division rival at home on opening day against us will make it close with a under touchdown win for us because of our inept defensive.I’m really hoping the defensive proves me wrong as I hope some personal changes and scheme changes make us not a liability on that side of the ball.We own the browns like every other team in the league but our defense on 3rd and 11 doesn’t give me confidence.I could easily see a 35 to 31 win for us which in the big scheme of things won’t make me happy.

 

As much as I would enjoy watching a riot in Cleveland, I’d still rather win the game.

This would be a double bad game to go see at Cleveland. If we win, they would be pissed because we won, and pissed because we took their beer.

Tbh this Is a scary game due to our tendencies to overlook competition and the browns have gotten a lot better.

 

We will show up unprepared as usual and be playing a team that we should beat just like last years close call. However, this year they don't have Kizer ( who kicked our ass again} but a much better qb that will make our D look like a HS team. What do you really think is going to happen?.

 

The Steeler game/ week is their Superbowl. That will be a Hornets nest up there.
