Morgan Burnett yikes

It has been this way for 3 yrs now. I dont understand why no one has noticed this. You do NOT run the football on the Pittsburgh Steelers and teams are doing it at will...right down their throat and dare them to stop em.

Ummm, SOME did, but not me. I never understood all the posters who worshiped Bradley as the savior who would fix all our D ills. And as it is turning out, he isn't the savior after all. They look worse than ever.

Burnett took a lousy angle on one play. He actually played fairly well the rest of the night and made some good, open-field tackles.

I don't think it's time to give up on him just yet.

I think I might have PTSD from last year. Seemed like every big play in the second half of the year we would have a chance to bring the guy down prior to the EZ and do something awful like Burnett did last night. That play looked exactly like last year to me. Just not a good sign.

 

I think we all need to understand that it takes some time to gell as a secondary also.
Lets get a couple more games under our belt and see where we are at.

I remember the players recruiting honey badger and Was rumored to visit but don't remember if he ever came in for a visit. Houston snatched him up and Pitt then went after Burnett a few days later I believe. Would've been nice but can't sign em all. I think Burnett may work out... Definitely not losing sleep over it before the season even starts.

 

Of a few OTA’s in shorts, a lot of time off, and minimal contact in camp. That’s like learning to have sex by reading a book.
