After 24 years, i finally have the chance to purchase season tickets from the Steelers. I have yet to respond, as I have a few questions for anyone who has recently purchased season tickets.
    1. What is the cost for the PSL? I'm assuming they vary depending on the location of the tickets.
    2. Will i have the opportunity to select my seats or do i just get what i get?
    3. Do i have the chance to improve my seat in the future or will I have to purchase better seats via a 3rd party transaction.
4 Any other comments or suggestions?

    Thanks

    1. Yes, depends on location.
    2. You will 'get what you get'. When they opened the Champion Club a couple of years ago you could pick which section (of 3) but since no new seats have been built (that I'm aware of) it's likely just a random PSL that became available.
    3. I don't believe I've ever seen that. You would need to buy/sell on the 3rd party market.

About 8 yrs ago roughly, it said I had about a 30 yr wait. I didnt know whether to believe that but as you can see, the OP waited 24 yrs.

The best I can remember about it is when the new stadium opened and seats were given out to former STH my dad requested closer seats because he had lost an eye at that point and they moved him down to the seats we have now from a level or two higher.

Or as an alternative to a 30 year+ wait........just buy Arizona Cardinal season tix - no wait and a good chance you'll get to watch lots of (ex) Steeler (and Pitt) players and coaches and if you're lucky, even get to see the Steelers in a Super Bowl match up with the Cards. The only drawback is suffering through all those underachieving So Cal Trojan QBs.

After 20 years got mine this year too and they actually came in the mail today in a sweet looking box. PSL do vary in price depending where you pick. They sent me a list of what they had available, approximately 50 to choose from with multiple 2 seaters and 4 seaters. They told me that we will be offered "better" seats when they become available. Me and my pops chose section 536. It's on Steeler side, about as close to mid field as you could, and we actually took "worse" seats to get under the awning for rain games and hopefully keep us cool on the really sunny days. I think you may have missed the deadline for it but we got the Valet parking pass at the casino for $450. Seemed like the best value, when you do/if get the tickets, the lady will give you info for parking passes, they are all pretty far lol. We went with the casino pass because obviously pretty close and figured after games rather then fighting traffic we will go watch the second game, eat and maybe win some money :hehehe:. I added an approximate view from the seats we got, thought it might give you an idea of what will be available. Only thing I will recommend is avoid the section of 518-527. They are bleacher seats, and it's not that they are even bad seats, but I went to a lot of games sitting there before Ticketmaster took over the ticket distribution and people on the list stopped be offered individual games. They are just seats I wouldn't want to be locked in to year round.

This is interesting. I also reached the top of the wait list this year. I was very excited until I received the reply to my acceptance email. I was only offered unlicensed seats in sections 519-525 (they send a spreadsheet with available seats and prices). Caitlyn said to respond by email with my top 3 choices.

Still undecided on how to proceed. It would not be worth it to fly to Pittsburgh for bleacher seats. The issue is you can only decline the offer once. The second time you pass on the offer you are back to the bottom of the waitlist. Plus, I am not happy about not being offered a SBL. The season tickets offered to me do not have a seat license and would be non-transferable.

Buying these season tickets does allow you to get on the seat relocation list. Has anyone had success in upgrading to better seats? If so, how many years did it take?
