Greg Lloyd question

Found this highlight video of Lloyd on Youtube but I could definitely do without the horrible music in this.

Greg Lloyd made one of the great defensive plays of that Super Bowl: 2nd quarter, Dallas already up 10-0 and it was 3rd and short from inside the ten. Emmit Smith got the carry, and Lloyd came from the backside (if memory serves) and tripped him up for a loss. Dallas had to settle for a FG, and the Steelers promptly cut the lead to 13-7 before the half.

Had the Steelers managed to pull that game out, the play by Lloyd would have been intensified.

Oh man, got chills watching this. Wow does this bring back some memories, Thanks for posting TTF, so awesome, I'm in a nostalgic Steelers mood now, lol. This got me so pumped up! This was when they still played REAL football and were allowed to actually play the game the way that it was meant to be played and play a physical game, not the watered down bs game of today. Boy do I miss REAL football. Does anyone remember the 60 min men t shirts? I still have one of those.

 

tough way to end that year. my goodness we are spoiled with good defenses. the 70's were unbelievable to watch and play during that time. the rules were so much different then, even compared to the 94 and 95 defenses. they keep taking our stregnth away from us. decades of the toughest defenses in the league. feared by teams. that's why we're fans of the black and gold. the best damn football team on the planet. denver , your in for an azz whoopin. sorry got a little carried away there after watching that.
