With Bell more than likely gone after this season, it’s the last chance for the offensive trio to win it all. You could argue we have the 1 WR 1 RB and a top 5 QB.

IMO this group has really underachieved with 0 SB appearances since they got together. Last chance this year but I’m afraid the D and in particular run D will not allow them to see this through.

Problem is... Bell probably won't do squat this year. He'll be on IR by week 9 with some "phantom" injury.

This O has never lived up to it's talent. Was it the OC? Was it the HC? Or is it the player or players ? Or better yet are the players really winners ? 1 I know is a loser that is Bell . His attitude effects this Team greatly in a negative way. Ben he seems hit or miss always talking retirement .Is that a winning attitude ? Brown he seems to be the real deal and seams to really be a Team player.

So My take is maybe we only have 1 killer B and 1 I can get it done B in Ben. And 1 ,I hurt the Team in a mental capacity in a big way in Bell ...So my take is do we really only have a killer B and a half.

Boswell... the most underrated, under-appreciated Steeler of all time. :frown:

    Give him Bell's money!!!

And also one of the top OLs in the league, supposedly.

But here's how this offense has done the last 4 yrs:

2017: 3rd in the NFL in yds, 8th in points
    2016: 7th in yds, 10th in pts
    2015: 3rd in yds, 4th in points
    2014: 2nd in yds, 7th in points

Well, the seem to be a top 2-3 offense in yds, but it doesn't translate into points. Maybe they should change Ben's number from 7 to 3.

Blake Bortles had an absolutely horrendous game just one week prior, then he puts up 42 points on our D. It's the defense, and offensive "play calling" that's been killing this team. Defense still wins championships

The last SB was pretty offensive. That's what the league wants. More scoring. Defenses have been hamstrung the last few years. Now our defense does need to play situational ball better. Hopefully the additions and subtractions will make a difference.

Philly's defense tbh didnt play bad. They held Brady scoreless on over half of their drives but when you have players such as brady and gronk you will eventually get some especially against a defense that was good and not great. But they made enough plays. You cant have a defense like ours that makes BARELY ANY plays. Jacksonville scored the ball over half the times they had it. That cannot happen and you expect to win.

Phillys defense stripped brady when they needed to.

I remember a strip sack in the 08 bowl that sealed it.

Great Defenses get stops when they need to
