Yeah, the Steelers are a franchise known for turmoil. That's why they've had three head coaches in most people's lifetime.

Your OP was about turmoil. Go read your own post then you will understand my post and Cam’s comments. If you don’t understand your own posts, how are going to understand the responses?

Either lock Tomlin out of the locker room or lock him in there by himself for the whole season.

Or we can do both: During games stuff him in the locker room lock the door. Pregame and half time throw him out, lock the door.

Without reading the article I'm going out on a limb and say what you are thinking of as discipline is not what Cam is talking about. Doing your job on the field as compared to guys taunting the other team outside their locker room, making Facebook video's and so on.

Is that why? Only This team would hire a mime and give it 30 years on the bench.

My friend used to work the Steelers airplane and asked to be removed from that assignment. He said when Cowher was the coach, players had to show up on time or the plane left without the players. He said Cowher did leave players behind that missed the plane. He said this is not the case now with the plane being delayed almost always by players showing up not the last minute but way late. He also said under Cowher, the players acted with manners. Now, the players scream, carry on, trash the plane and worse. He couldn't take the filth they left behind, the worse than circus activities. He also mentioned Tomlin would act out also.

    Interesting.

I'd have thought late departures would be reported by the press more? The only story I remember seeing is when Haley missed the plane a few years back.

I wouldn't call it turmoil. It's strange that for years the defense was the team's strength and currently it's a weakness. The Steelers have always been known for their outstanding defenses over the years. Steel Curtain, Blitzburgh of the 90's, Big Nasty/Championship D's of the 00's. We now have the Wet Paper Napkin D.

It's like an 80's repeat with poor draft choices adding up. Inexplicable really.

The "WPN". I like it. The mantra could be: "we will be inexplicably harder to remove than we physically should be."
