Madden ratings accurate for Steelers?

I don't think the following players were rated high enough

Boswell - he had a 92% field goal percentage.

Also Andrea at LT needs a little more love.

As does Pouncey.. think he's one of the best in the league.

The Steelers are being rated as one of the top offensive lines in the NFL and I agree with that. Don't think they did us justice there.

Don't have much of a problem with the rest. Think it's pretty accurate. I like how they put in Shazier but yeah the guy isn't playing this year and IMO probably not again. Hope I'm wrong though.

Any idea at the highest rated kicker?
He should be up there with them.

 

Tucker (Balt) is highest at 86.
Then Bryant (Atl) and Gould (SF) at 85.

Boz is actually around 13th. That’s a pretty big oversight imo.

 

We'll see. People who write about and discuss sports tend to over-react when players have one or two good years. Golf did it with Rory McIlroy wondering if he was better than Tiger after the guy had one good year and then he disappeared for awhile. Maybe my beef with Madden rankings is more about handing out 99 rankings like candy. To me, to get a 99 ranking you should be in the conversation for best ever. So, to me, 97 is a bit high. Of course, I also think the guy is an arrogant jerk so maybe that is biasing my opinion as well. We'll see what he does this year.

 

First time I've disagreed with you my guy. Odell is an elite player. Best stats by a receiver in first 3 seasons and has been a 3x pro bowler. His numbers and impact dont lie.

 

I agree about the 99 ratings.

But then, I like playing Madden in franchise mode, building players up, getting an UDFA from 70s in the 90s. So if you start the game with a player on 99, you're basically saying they can't get any better. That's fine if you just want a quick arcade game, I guess. Or if you give it to the once-in-a-generation player. But as you say, too many players with 99 rankings for my liking.

I'm painfully aware that I'm not the target market, though.
