The average person - "It feels like the hottest day ever!"
Heinz - "OMG, the sun's rays are shooting through my body and burning me to death from the inside out because it is factually the hottest day ever!!!"

    C'mon man lol

How in the world did that team win any games at all?

Extremism can be a very dangerous characteristic to have. Especially when it can be shown that the picture that you paint isn't 100% accurate.

You choose to focus on the extreme end of the negatives. Much of the negatives you perceive don't happen all the time. Maybe the negative things happen a handful of times throughout a season. Where do the positives fall in your point of view? Maybe you can't see the positives?

There is nothing extreme about what I'm saying. I back up my opinions with facts. I'm not going to apologize for having a pessimistic view of the upcoming season. I have many good reasons to be negative.

    Positives:

The offense will be pretty good
Mike Munchak is a good coach
    Special Teams will be good
JJ Watt is a good linebacker
Antonio Brown is the best WR in the NFL
Jameis Winston will be suspended Week 3, so Steelers should win a game they would've otherwise lost

Who is the Bucs backup QB?

The Amish rifle is the Bucs backup. Fitzpatrick is always getting on the field as a backup.

3rd and 7 Play a 12 yard cushion. Pretty sound logic not sure why it never works??

For info, the Steelers were 7th best in the league last year in stopping 3rd down conversions percentage.

That's total 3rd downs, so includes the short yardage stops as well. But from watching I didn't think we were that great at that either, so shows how much perception plays a part.

To be honest thig, these stats can be misleading too. Overall we were pretty good, game by game was a different story. Pre shazier we were better, post, we got worse. Against some teams we were real good, against others we were bad. Jags game we couldn't get off the field. The Texans 3rd and 4th string qbs we were good against. These type of games can make rankings better than actuality.

This is a fact. As pessimistic as you are you don’t just post random negativity as so many do.

    Jameis Winston backup quarterback
The Bucs agreed to terms with vagabond veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick on Thursday on a one-year contract to play behind starter Jameis Winston next season.Fitzpatrick, 35, went 2-1 as a starter in place of Winston, who missed three games with a shoulder sprain in 2017.Mar 8, 2018

OK, we beat Fitzpatrick when he was starting for Houston a few years back. But I can see the Steelers D making him look like Marino in his prime.

Fitz has 5 career starts against the steelers on 4 different teams and lost all 5 games, but that dont mean he cant win this time in prime time on MNF, he is hot and cold and is a pretty good passer if there is no pressure on him, so if he gets a hot hand he can make this game very interesting...

The Amish rifle is a decent QB. He cannot throw the deep out though, Shortens the field for the defense.
