So much talk about the defense and rightfully so but how good will the offense be? We lost 68 receptions and 752 yards and 4 TDs. LB had a worse year than the year before. McDonald can't stay on the field. Hubbard is no longer here to take over as a starter when needed. Ben's another season older. Foster had surgery on his shoulder. The whole line is another year older and into the 30ish range. Can we be better or do we start to see a decline?

They'll do about as well as the Patriots, who lost 1100 yds receiving, 900 yds rushing, and their top tackle.

Point being, we draft players to replace them. That's what it's for. McDonald showed in the playoffs what he can do when healthy. Bell will be here, and running for the big bucks. Martavis was a weapon, but replaceable. Hell, our draft was four of top six on offense. That's not what we need to be concerned about.

Very inconsistent for talent on the field, Shouldn't be winning nail biters.
Maybe New OC will make a difference. I have my doubts. Ben will run show,
    Back to Ba Ball?

They won't be back to BA ball, Ben is too old for that. Besides Art II let it be known he was tired of Ben taking those hits.

McDonald in sweats at the last mini camp practice. Oh boy the old sweat suit makes a return. Again I ask, will this offense be as good?

Difficult to say. An underrated storyline to watch for certain.

Marcus Gilbert missing a few games is a given. That being said, Chukwuma taking his lumps early and often is much more acceptable than late in the season. James Washington needs to also have a big camp.

Biggest person to watch is James Conner. His pass protection has improved greatly since last season according to reports. He will have to not only show that but much more heading into the 2018 season and beyond.

A very good question mac indeed. :applaud:

The last two years, Ben had TD:INT ratios of 28:14 and 29:13.
If he could get back to how he was playing in 2014 (32:9), ball security will make up for any potential lost yards or receptions.

It would be nice if Ben didn't become a turnover machine whenever they play the Jaguars, 5 ints in the regular season 2 turnovers in the playoff game last season .

We know what we have in AB and Bell but we are quite different after that. Juju had a decent season but can he improve on that? He disappeared at times too. Washington is an unknown. McDonald is a difference maker but how many games will we have him? He also helps Bell do his thing. Again how many games do we have that?

Eli is out. Jesse can be a threat but we also lose some blocking with him.

Hubbard isn't here to take those snaps to help out.

It may resemble the same offense but it is quite different.

Im not worried about the offense. Im excited to see how good it is. AB, Bell and JuJu is a nightmare for any DC to game plan for. I think Washington has the same impact JuJu did year one, Vance is hit or miss with his injuries but I feel James is underrated. His game is different than Vance but still effective. Samuels is a wild card, Im not expecting much but if he shows up, hoo boy, gonna be fun.

Is that really the injury that “will keep him out until training camp”, that was posted elsewhere?

The knee kept him out of ota's. The pinky will keep him from catching any passes until camp and beyond that who knows. Still an additional concern for the offense. All these small setbacks add up.

Regarding JuJu, I do not surmise that the injury contains the same severity as Torry Holt's. Otherwise, that would have been very bad.
