Should AB be quiet about Bell missing OTAs and camp?

Even with a union, there are still haves and have nots.

Although, the have nots still make more than a paltry half million.

This is why they should have drafted a good back and be done with this: This will kill team chemistry. Should have cut bait. Going this route will ruin yet another season where we could have contended for a ring. What a waste.

That's my point. Why is Bell complaining, he's making serious money. Some of these other guys are really the ones at risk.
Including this upcoming season Bell will have made about 30 million. If he gets injured in camp or OTA's he's not going to be in any financial trouble.

This will probably happen soon in Seattle!
I think Bell is a Barry Sanders/ Walter Payton type talent but his demands, and now, new rap are over the top.

It’s not!!If anything holding out hurts him for a few reasons. His production will probably not be as good in the beginning of the season like last year as he has to be on the same page as the team. Also it doesn’t help him in free agency next year as character does count and him not even participating with the team in training camp for two years in a row shows selfishness.I’m not talking about playing in pre season which I could at least understand because of injury potential. He Judy’s needs to be in sync with the team when the regular season starts!

Good points and I agree. People love to talk about risk and how Bell has so much to lose which is why he should make more then any other RB in the history of the NFL. What about the guys that show up for work that make less money?

Exactly. He's the last guy that should be pulling this stunt especially as well paid as he is.

Fans can hate on Bell all they want, but if I was in his position I would do the same. The NFL is a business, they cut players anytime they want. If Bell shows up to OTAs and tears his ACL, the team won't be negotiating a long term deal with him anymore. The deadline to get a long term deal is July 15, so Bell is doing the right thing IMO. Him running around in shorts at OTAs isn't going to affect his upcoming season.

I agree with all of this. I do believe his missing training camp will affect his upcoming season. It did last year, and this year we have a new OC.

You are correct. This season is lost. No reason to waste any more time with the Steelers or this board this year. Please come back next year, we will miss your deep insight in the mean time.

I don't know if I'd wait to sign or not, but I do know that I'd keep my business to myself and act like a man about it. I sure as hell wouldn't be doing silly nonsense like cracking jokes about applying at Dairy Queen if I had more money than most hard working people make in a lifetime. To each his own, though.

They can’t, I believe. When I put my tin foil hat on, I start wondering if this is really why Bell waits so long to show up. He can just keep toking longer.

Second it. That's the way chit goes in business. Either side will hold out until they have to pony up. Don't hate the playa, hate the game.

Bell is a idiot, and I don't like how he handles himself on social media and all but it's too risky to sign now and attend OTAs and minicamp.

I've been said from the start I dont fault any brother for trying to get his money and I'm extremely disappointed in AB. That's just a general rule that players dont me as with other guys money. AB you're paid what YOU FEEL you are worth. It's easy for you to say show up...

Why did floyd Mayweather just fight at a father time boxing age of 40 with a risk of several damaging himself this past August? His last fight before Augusthe made 3x as much as bell will ever see...
