This is a serious question: how does anyone know that Dobbs sucks? I've seen Landry play and I'd say he sucks! Is the knock on Dobbs just based on pre-season?

You can not teach accuracy. You either have it or you don't. Josh don't.

Yes. Doesn’t seem like a lot of data for us to go on.

But we didn’t see a years worth of practices.

Come on Mac, you know the premise of my argument is that high salaried players dont get benched for a reason. So you gave me an outlier and guess what, coach was fired. Besides, poor example anyway, Giants season was over and coach wanted to see what they had on the bench. Although I have no idea why they needed to look at Geno, should have looked at the other guy

Anyway, what was that expression you used in the other thread? This isnt your fathers oldsmobile. Things are much different then 1970's.

Oh, and you heard boos but you sure as **** didnt hear anyone calling for Landry to be put in :lolol:

Same knock on Watson coming out. Dont believe all the scouting reports. Either that or Watson got accurate suddenly.

Put LJ in, watch him throw 5 more interceptions, and have Ben feel better about the whole thing. On to the next game.

#7 will never come off the field unless he is hurt or game is already determined either way w/L.

Tomlin doesn't have the rocks to reign in Ben.

If Ben throws pick#5 with 8 mins left in Q4 and its 30-9 Jax. Yank Ben and give the reindeer some snaps.
But Ben starts the next week, without question.

LOL BA reigned Ben in Ha, I think we will see alot of BA ball . Ben will run the show Fichtner is just a figurehead,

Get ready for 3rd and 1 Bombs and 50 attempts per game. Yoy. remember when Troy P use to say for the defense to be

successful we have to be on the field a whole lot less. Time of posession is the defense's best friend with Ben launching 50/game

good luck with our smoke and mirror defense.

Ben is the man, if he had another 5 interception game, he'll start the next game just like last year. The only way Ben would be pulled is if he had something like 15 interceptions within 3 or 4 games & we're not winning. And then he'll be replaced by Landry Jones because he's the #2. Unless there's an injury, I can't see Rudolph getting a uniform this year...

I don't think Ben will ever throw 5 picks again, in a game, for the remainder of his career... now that Rudolph was drafted.

I think you are throwing random variables into a regression analysis.

Nailed it. You don't pull Ben and give the job to Mason. What I would support though, is if Ben got injured, missed multiple weeks and Mason played lights out for those weeks, I would keep Mason in. Like it or not, players lose their jobs due to injuries all the time. If your starting guy is lighting it up, you don't pull him, you ride it as long as you can

There's also another group, those of us that hate Ben, but appreciate what he can do and love the fact that he makes this team a contender when he's on his game.

I'll never like or respect Ben, but I can admit that he is a hell of a QB and if he plays well at the right times, can help us compete

If you don't think there will be a 2 interception game then you haven't been following Ben's career. Almost every QB throws 2 interceptions in a game every now and then

I appreciate the statistical literacy, but I was just making a point and in doing so resorted to spontaneous and emotional slight hyperbole for the purpose of emphasis and optimism,
