    Are you kidding?

Lambert would wrap his jock around it and run back out there and slap the trainer in the head on his way.

I can't believe ha has to sit out of everything. An I over reacting again? Just tape it up and do stuff with one arm. No?

Blame the new CBA, they're not allowed to even practice more then 5 minutes straight. I might be exaggerating slightly on the 5 minutes.

Then, he'd break the other one so they matched.

Just OTAs. I'm not too worried about it. As long as he's healthy in the regular season, that's all that matters to me. Preseason would be nice too, though.

I've seen players play with a hugh cast on there hand several times. He needs the reps if he wants to make a jump from the bench to a starter.

Broken thumb seems an odd reason to sit out, especially for someone who's in the company of the likes of Harrison and Woodley. I presume there's something more to it. Perhaps Lebeau has designed some new genius defensive package that specifically requires strong thumbs?

Woodley would definatley sit out, Silverback would keep on playing.

I think the fact that it's OTAs is what people are overlooking. I'm sure if he had a game to start this Sunday, he'd play.

I understand the OTA thing, but with a little more thought on the matter, we know he's not fighting for a starting gig in this group so, with that in mind, I get it in OTA's. If there were a spot open that I thought he could realistically win (barring injury) I'd question this decision 10x as much.

Exactly. He has no chance of winning a starting role, and also no chance of being demoted. His spot is as solid as it gets for a non-starter. He's the #2 OLB at both positions, and that's that. All he's really missing is a few reps, and it'll be months before we get to the important reps. What I mostly want from him anyway is to be getting bigger and stronger, and he doesn't need reps to do that, he just needs to be in the weight room.
