Kevin Minter??

Here is an ILB we could potentially talk to. Is there something I am missing about him that says we should look at a still relatively young guy as potential depth? He may not help the Mack, but maybe he could help the Buck position depth?

 

I too have been worried about our lack of ILBers and how it will hurt this defense. We saw what happened when Shazier went down.

The biggest thing that went wrong was we didnt adapt well. Communication never got fixed. We're starting out this year without him so we should be better than how we finished.

Also I read a article projecting our defensive alignment and it ease some of my concerns and here are the alignments projected.

None of these include Dirty Red who we know the staff is high on and will play. The same can be said of Sutton. M. Allen ( rookie safety ) along with Nat Berhe & Dangerfield will be pushing for spots and playing time.

We'll probably keep either LJ Fort or Keith Kelsey for back-up @ ILB but shouldn't even see playing time.

I didnt even mention the Dime packages where ILB depth wont influence gamedays.

Our lack of ILB depth really isn't a problem unless we have injuries. THAT is what the issue is. I think Dirty Red can be fine as the Buck, but I worry about Bostic's backup.
