Which makes me wonder....we have 2 of the 3 best buds. I know all 4 of them are originally Florida guys (Rainey, Mike, Maurkice, and Gilbert) and 3 of those guys grew up together in Lakeland, but Stephen Ross is running Miami into the ground. Maybe when Mike's a free agent he'll want that ring he know he won't get in Miami and he'll follow his brother and friends over to Pittsburgh. Ahhh one can hope can't he? Adams, Mike Pouncey, Maurkice Pouncey, DeCastro, and Gilbert! I dare to dream....

It's every man's dream to be the best, some just chose to say it out loud rather than just go out and prove it. Lewis is just saying what his goal is for this year is and not being too arrogant or cocky about it. He knows he has some work to get there and he's setting a goal for himself but at least he's not making Joe Flacco-esque statements about being the best at his position.

Lewis and Mike grew up together in New Orleans, and then both committed to Oregon State, but Mike signed with Ole Miss to be closer to home and family. Had something to do with Hurricane Katrina I think. Can't remember, but talked to him about it a couple times in class.

I posted the same dream line a week or so ago in a different thread. I can't believe how sick that line would be. Right up there with The HOGS in D.C.

It had something to do with their highschool coach getting a job at Ole Miss. Mike went back to follow his coach but Lewis was already enrolled at Oregon and couldn't back out. I remember reading an article where Lewis said he was kind of upset about it at first.

With that mindset, you know he will play hard every second he's in the game.

You re exactly right about that. I can't remember the coaches name now, but I want to say that he left, but he is now back on staff at Ole Miss... I go to school at Ole Miss, which is how I know alot of these guys - Ben-Jarvis Green-Ellis was my writing partner is English Comp... knew Pat Willis, Mike Wallace, Michael Oher, Dexter McCluster, and Greg Hardy all pretty well too. In fact, I have a picture on my wall of Pat holding me up for a kegstand at a Christmas party at my house some years back. Good times are had by all here in Oxford...

Lewis has some years now, and little else.

C Brown is on the rise, is quick wand a good tackler.

I think Allen is the one that shows, game time, that he's getting it.

However, I think we'll see a combination of the above as DL will try to find a good match for that certain pkg he wants to deploy.

Well considering that the joke of a game Pro Bowl is now for players not participating in the SB.................................................... Here's hoping that he doesn't make it.:)
