Really dude you're bragging about your D-line after that pathetic playoff performance vs the Jaguars.

Are you really taking offense at a guy pushing back against a fan belief that the Steelers should go all Dan Snyder and try to buy themselves into a Super bowl and saying these are the Brothers I want to go into battle with? Life's to short bro, let some of this slide. It's almost BBQ season enjoy life.

I think the front seven will be better in 18. Need a healthy Tuitt first and foremost. Bostic is an improvement over Spence. Surely it can't get any worse lol. And we scored 42 on jags D?

That's the one thing that's annoying me. Everyone thinks just because they were so bad just any improvement equals good.

You know. I am going to be in the vast minority in saying this. But Im not so sure Alualu isn't a better player than Tuitt. Alualu was a beast last year. There were times I wondered why Tuitt was on the field instead of Alualu. I know injuries played a part, but Alualu very quietly is pretty darn good.

Agreed but...Tuitt looked great in camp, preseason, and the short amount of time he played that 1st game...He wasn't the same after that...But I agree, coaches should of played Alualu more

So who are they drafting cause they will need more than what we got from the dline last year?

Our defense up front was horrible . What the bears and jags did to us on the ground was shameful. I’ll say we can’t get much worse so hopefully Cam is right.

LTWalton just had shoulder surgery. Tuitt was hurt and alualu is a good player. So is cam. Dunbar was hired for a reason. I saw that John Mitchell will no longer be on the sidelines coaching. We are also looking for a player in this draft. Changes are coming, but in baby steps. This hybrid defense we run is not very run stop friendly. It takes our LBers to step up more. We need all of them to get off of blocks better and make plays. Vince Williams should not be 2nd in tackles tied with a guy that was out for several games and no forced fumbles. Davis led this team in tackles, had 1 sack, a FF, and 3 picks for us. That is a pretty good year. As I said shazier was next and then Hilton. Then burns. These guys should not be on the top of the team lead for tackles. Vince, Dupree and Watt need to be making more tackles period. Coaching, scheme and player quality are all to blame for this run defense or lack there of.

Alualu was close to being our best Defensive lineman for us last year. Certainly deserved more playing time. Hopefully Tuitt problems were all injury related and will play better this year.

Heyward is a good player and honestly he deserves to be cut some slack. But after having a game like he did he probably should be a little more humble.

The coaches should've played Alalu more in the playoff game vs the Jags.

Yeah well Heyward and Tuitt are the highest paid players on defense and they were complete no-shows in the playoff game, going into the game I thought the Steelers had a advantage there .

Tuitt had 3 tackles in that game. Heyward, Hargreaves, alualu and Walton each had 1. Watt had 2. Bud 4. Haden, Hilton burns had 9. Davis 12. Mitchell 5. Spence 5. Golden 2. Fort 1.

I'm going to go on the side that Tuitt played with a pectoral injury all year. Remember that it was maybe thought that he would maybe miss the whole season. I think he got this injury Week 1 against the Browns. I'm guessing he played through it but was not 100% all season. Should Tuitt stay healthy I think you will see a better player for 2018.

not going to excuse our line vs jax but Jax have a big strong front that bullied ours. They allowed 3rd least sacks for a reason.

Tuitt I am optimistically going to say his injury caused his downfall, and that is the reason he was a no show. Pre injury(for little it was) he looked explosive and dominant.

Will there be a full season with a healthy cam and tuitt? who knows. Alululaualualualualualuala Is great.

our defense needs to work collectively as a unit and they will be fine. We don't need 1978/2008 defense, just good enough to get our offense back on the field.

Jville dominated the LOS and the big back just kept coming and no one wanted to tackle him.

Really wasn't as close as the score indicated.

His ceiling isn't higher but I do agree he outplayed Tuitt and should of got more time. Maybe Tuitt would of been more effective down the stretch but you know how Tomlin likes to ride his horses.....until they're glue.
