Look like he’s out safety signing. Nice signing and good stop gap until our draft pick is up to par.

Best of all no Mitchell !!!!!

Morgan Burnett, S, Packers. Age: 29.

Green Bay's defense has been atrocious in recent seasons, but don't blame Morgan Burnett. The 29-year-old is the centerpiece of Green Bay's defense, playing numerous positions. He should be able to perform on an extremely high level for at least three more years.

I like the signing I guess all the talk about signing nobody or signing nobody good can be put to rest. Now we upgraded S and ILB as long as Bostic and Morgan stay healthy we are so much better. Now add another player at each position in the draft and I am happy. Nice job Steelers.

Might be a bit past his prime. Not sure he is the same guy he was a few years ago.

I do like the signing though. Talenter vet to help QB the secondary.

Looks like a good stopgap while we draft a rookie and let them find their feet. All jokes aside about what constitutes an upgrade from Mitchell... this is an upgrade from Mitchell.

I don't know who this is but will indeed find out. Richard Sherman is 29 as well but SF still signed him.. Maybe he is a bit past his prime as well but I would be willing to bet he has some gas in the tank.

He may not be a superstar, but from what I know of him, his style of play is not overly aggressive, and thus he won't get torched the way Mitchell did...

But will he give up 30 yard passes, then celebrate making a tackle?

Really like the signing, as well as Bostic. Low risk talent that can step in and do a solid job; at least until the drafted talent is ready.

He wraps up, makes tackles and doesn't typically allow a lot of YAC -- he's literally the exact type of guy we need in our secondary.

Many people here wanted to complain that we didn't do anything or aren't signing "big" names. Well depending on which board you look at he was ranked towards the top of many of them. I like the mover a little worried about health but can't predict that.

After letting go of 2 Safeties in which the door couldn't hit fast enough, it seems on the surface to be a solid addition. Don't know much about the guy but anything is better then seeing Mitchell cemented out there. Now to the Draft.

losing shazier hurt this team more than we could make up for, but that's the way it goes. Can't complain really what Steelers are doing, except maybe keeping that rapper crutch lol. Then again without Ben we will suck anyways so whatever

Lets not get to excited here. Two stop gaps which were needed. Besides the cap the Bell signing has put this team where it is. And I know how HIGH you were on retaining Bell. So High that means your all in on a Championship? Super Bowl or Bust? Right?! Just messin with you NY, it's all good. We all are on the same team Brother. Did you like how I accented high? If they win it all I will change my musical direction to being a rap star :lolol:

This is a good signing as long as it keeps Mitchell from returning.

And just to check... he doesn't have any history of concussions, right?

Love this. Never doubted a good FA would be added. Was rather indifferent about Bostic, but he's an improvement over the revolving door after #50 left. D is better already. Draft ILB/S/NT hard and add a good RB. We'll be ready to roll.

He did play in Dom Capers defense so he should be pretty well up to speed to start right away. Defense improved? Check.

And he’s probably cheap. They will probably bring Mitchell back cheap as well to back up but who knows. They cut Golden also. They’ve made some good memories vets with limited cap space. We need to sign Bell and end the drama.

He sat for a month last season, but I think it was a hamstring injury. I know a lot of Green Bay fans still blame him for the '15 NFCC loss to Seattle, when he had a late pick and gave himself up when he could have run, maybe for a TD. I like the signing.

I like this move. Somehow this move even makes the Bostic signing seem better. I still hope the Steelers go safety and linebacker 1-2.
