Just read the Dolphins cut Mike Pouncey. Any chance the Steelers bring him in to play LG?

Whenever those 2 get together nothing good ever seems to happen, but maybe that is only when they are in Florida?

His bro has largely been a bust since getting drafted. Can't stay healthy. Do we need a back up? if he's willing to take back up $ and likely never play except when our starters get hurt...sure why not.

Mike Pouncey could beat out Foster IMO. He played guard last year for Miami..... and I'm not sure BUST is the right word for a 3 time Pro Bowl player.... and as for health he played all 16 games last season. ...Foster is one of the few guys I ever successfully mocked to Pit... but his time is getting near

Too many injuries for my liking. We do pretty well with Finney at guard. We will however need at least two backups that can play G/C. Field can play G/T and Finney could move to C if we had an in game injury but fieler isn't built for LT duties. Maybe RT in a pinch. Hawkins hasn't shown LT capabilities yet. So we need a few guys brought in for sure in camp.

Hard to call a 3 time Pro Bowler a bust. When healthy he can absolutely play but no thanks no need to waste that much money on he line right now with Foster and Finney on the roster.

Where would the money come from? I know, a few more restructures and they can rebuild this defense! What, oh, he plays offense? Never mind...

We need help on defense, and OP wants to sign a OL . He will be asking for too much money anyways.

They just cut 3 DBs which tells you what positions they will be targeting in this draft and FA, oline is not one of their targets, another over priced pouncey isnt in the cards........

You "mocked" a UDFA? Just kiddin' Hack.

Pouncey would be an upgrade to Foster on some level, but maybe not when it comes to chemistry.

I took Foster in the 5th round of that mock. Based on career. .I feel I was better than 32 NFL gms on Foster. Lol. Maurkice and Mike played side by side all through biddy ball to college..I think chemistry would be ok.

When the 15th pick in the first round is cut after 7 years in the league is that not a bust? He essentially missed 2016 and wasn't the same player in 2017. Earlier in his career he was awesome. Lately not so much. Someone in need of a Center or OG will pay him but he's about as risky a signing as they get. Health questions and serious personality questions. Havn't heard if he's grown up any but I've heard from people in the know that during his college years he was a head case and not a good person. As I said..if he was willing to take back up $ to play with his brother...sure sign him. That's just not going to happen.

The average NFL player's career is four years. If one does get over that average value, that individual must be doing something right; pro bowler or otherwise.

Foster has transformed into one of the best pass protectors at his position in the league and Finney isn't far off in his own right..... we are totally set here
