Waiting for the usual... "They still have Bortles at QB"... even though he led the Jags to beat the Steelers twice at Heinz Field in the same season.

You mean the same Bortles who dropped 30 and 45 points on them, both at Heinz and the 2nd in the playoffs? Or the running back who busted their faces up for 181 and 109 yards? Yea, we should just laugh at the Jags; they are nothing to even worry about. Maybe Tomlin could disrespect them and talk about having to face the Pats before we even make in through the Jags. Maybe we can have our idiot safety try to ridicule them in their locker room before the game starts. I hear you, HeinzMustard.

It's also a good time for you to live in denial and make yourself believe we have a top shelf head coach.

If you are going to have a panic attack, at least get your facts straight. Bortles was 8/14 for 95 yards and 0 TDs and an Int the first game. He didnt do ****.

The second game he threw for 216 yards and 1 TD.

You guys have a funny definition of being lit up.

Ill worry about Brady who is capable of throwing 500 yards and 5 TD"s. You guys can go ahead and have nightmares about Bortles.

You should be grateful if they go into the season with him as the starter.

They are a far better team than us outside of qb and us having ab.

I couldn't care less about stats from opposing QBs. Wins and losses are what matters and Bortles is on the path to ownership of the Steelers. Steve McNair didn't put up great stats vs. the Steelers back when he was QB for Titans... but he damn near owned the Steelers for many years. Hell... Kordell won more often than not vs. the Ravens... but didn't do much stat-wise. Bottom line is... our defense sucks and it don't look like it's gonna get any better any time soon.

I think we have a better shot at beating NE than the Jags in the playoffs.

Thats absurd. The first game they won because of Bens 5 turnovers, had nothing to do with Bortles.

Second game it was the defense not getting off the field on 3rd down and allowing 4 rushing TD's.

I think I have a better shot at winning the Power Ball lottery this weekend than the Steelers have at beating either of those teams in the playoffs.

The league as a whole will. We have the big 3 on offense but in terms of overall teams there's a good 5 teams id say right now are better than we are.

If I had a dollar for everyone one of these EXACT SAME threads that pop up every offseason, I could sign Le'veon Bell for 2018. Screw football and the Steelers, Bell is cleaning BobbyBiz's house and playing with his kids all year.

They crushed our faces in twice, at home. No fluke. Now that Coughlin is running the show it's a whole different ball game.

They have money, in part, because they have the balls to make decisions, that illuminate if they were wrong; we just protect egos and avoid admitting things like Mitchell and Jarvis Jones are bums.

WTF with the straw man argument. OP talked about Jags owning us, not Bortels. It matters little why they destroy us, but fact is, they destroyed us and are getting better, while we look to not even try to improve.

I think we will struggle again against the Jags. They did a lot to help themselves and all we did so far is get rid of Mitchell, which should help but we are also playing in Jacksonville next year. Let's face it Bortles dosent have to do much against us because we can't stop their run game, and they got the best secondary in the game.

Hmmm...... so Moncrief, Jenkins and Paul were some super signings???? Damn I missed how much better they are than Robinson! Oh yeah and let's not forget the glue to that D Posluszny retired and yeah still have Bortles! I will put my money on the Steelers even if the only thing they do is bring in 2 rookies to fix S and ILB they will be better than last year and no way the Jagoffs put up 45 again. Oh and for the record we are going to sign somebody to fix the D but I am confident that even with rookies we can hold down the Jagoff offense, are you confident that great Jagoff D can hold us to under 43.....I'M NOT! Go Steelers
