by the time the draft comes around, we should know if Bell is going to be around or not. if he leaves, we need to draft a back. i really like the Georgia duo Chubb and Michel. If I had to pick one, I'll take Chubb. 5-11/225 a little on the small side but powerful back. Is he worth a 3rd round pick if he is available?

Between the two I would take Michel he has more big play ability.

Yeah Michel would be interesting. I don't think we drafted Conner to be a backup if Bell were to leave but I think Michel would be a nice complement to Conner.

I don't think we will have a chance at any of these 2 where we would select

a running back. I will take Michel if we do though.

Whats wrong with Kalen Ballage and Rashaad Penny, of the little I have seen on him I really like Penny a lot.

I agree Chubb is much more like Conner and isn't really a 3rd down threat, if we were to let Bell walk a guy like Michel would be a fit.

I like both of these guys, especially Michel, but I don't think either of them will last until our 3rd round pick. But if they are still available, heck yeah I take either one of them in the 3rd.

I pointed Ballage out because I follow ASU since it's my home town team and anytime a back can score 8 TDs in a single game 7 rushing and 1 with a reception you have to take note since it was only done one other time in the history of college ball, if we can get him on day 2 or 3 snatch him up....

    And
    SOURCES TELL US
"Mark this down. Nobody will be talking about him until he gets to the Combine where he will lift well, run well and jump out of the stadium. Then, he'll be the hot name." -- NFC team director of college scouting

Yep, diamond first mentioned ballage on here. I like the kid as well. Royce Freeman is another guy I like that may be a nice fit for us.

I was aware of Ballage, I follow PAC 12 football as a USC fan. If he's there in the 5th rd then it's worth a look.

I wonder if Ballage would last until the 5th rd, he's a big back that can run.

    I think he moved up from a 5 to a 3rd or 4th rounder....

Yeah he probably did, I would just prefer the Steelers draft all defense the first 3 rounds because they don't have a 4th rd this year.
