    Ooooh controversial.

In terms of who I would trade instead... I dunno, most of the players I wanted gone have already upped and left this off-season. Colon, perhaps.

Actually Clements has NOT been cut yet. Its been rumored he could be a cut based on his 5.5 mil that he counts towards the cap this year.

Anyways...I too dont agree with the Keisel trade. Also the article is supposed to be about who a team would trade each team should have to have a person they could trade...yet he says "no one" for the Ravens? Thats not fair it kinda takes away from the "fun" the article is supposed to be. If I had to trade someone from Pittsburgh though...J Scott, haha...ummm...Hampton? I dunno...

I'm surprised that nobody has jumped in with a suggestion of trading Wallace or Mendenhall - that seemed to be the rage a while back here.

Though can you trade a player who's on IR or PUP?

Thats why i laughed because of who he is. But hey...if they can trade Sean Mahan for something...then they could trade J Scott for something...who is miles better than Mahan ever was.

Man I wouldn't trade Keisel, especially if he was willing to be a back up, we still need a reliable back up at that position irregardless if he gets surpassed by someone on the depth chart. I don't even see that happening just yet, his play has not dropped off. He may be old, but he doesn't have heavy mileage on his body. He could play another 4 years IMO.

Man I wouldn't mind picking up Stewart from the Panthers though? When he first came into the league him and WIlliams were a pretty good combo running behind Jeff Otah. Not sure if he has dropped off since then or not?

trades are usually conditional on the players pssing a physical

the article is a bit of a joke
sure most of the teams might be happy to dump the players mentioned but who would take them?

i agree. scott had alot of good games for us. all our guys have had their share of bad,bad games.
maybe team him up with someone? ziggy hood? we should be able to get quite a good amount for these two. i like them both, but they just don't seem to fit here for some reason. scott would have his worth to a team as a RT that could in a pinch play LT. ziggy would be a better fit in a 4-3 i think. one offensive and one defensive linemen should be worth a good bit in a trade.

i don't think he's going anywhere, but in this hypothetical scenario, i would group these two to sweeten the pot. i think cam heyward is going to outplay ziggy before it's all said and done.

Perhaps we can trade Clark's spleen and a late draft pick for a better spleen?

(Can't actually remember if it was his spleen that was the problem...)

And this is why the Bleacher Report is such a joke. Many mistakingly cite it as a credible source when referencing a story. Anyone of us here can sign up to write articles on their site. These articles are often quite comical.

I think that is it and I like your plan! I guess you have to take some of these "articles" at face value and for entertainment purposes. If you put stock in this kind of stuff you are in trouble.

Well its essentially a means to find out some info. not that all the info there is 100% legit or valid but some interesting reads have come out of there in the past... I stick to the old if ya don't like it... than don't ****ing read it lol. At least you and Mac and others accept it for what it is instead of bitching about it

Mac...I hope your right. I really like this kid and see dominant potential in him. I will be severly dissapointed if he doesn't pan out. I like Ziggy too, but, there is something about Heyward that I really like (of course if you look through older posts you'll find I liked Sweed too).

Why should the Steelers have to go through the trouble of making a trade for a new spleen. Lets inconvenience denver, I say we move the broncos out of denver until Clark retires, that seems easier to me.

Trade Mike Wallace for Brian Quick and a 2nd. rounder next year.......I doubt the Rams would even make the trade as Quick impressed all at Mini Camp.....

It would give us the bigger WR that we need and it would give us a WR who is a Team 1st. guy.....Quick was asked did he feel pressure,he said no,I am out here to get better and to dpo anything and everything to help this Team get better, whatever they ask me to do I will do....Then it went on and asked him the reason you don't feel the same pressure like the late rounders or the UDFA'S is because he was a high pick....He said I don't see it that way at all....I am in the same boat as them and I need to earn my spot just like everyone else.....

As I stated before the draft this kid is the rare WR who has the skills ,but has the right attitude to match.....IMO only a few WR'S in the NFL are Team 1st. guys,we have 1 in Brown not so much in Wallace IMO.....Some will say that the way that D'S started playing Wallace is the reason he has dropped off.....I think that has very little to do with it....IMO he has Arrived mentality,IMO he feels he has reached greatness and that has a direct impact on his off field and his on the field work......

Brown is going to show Wallace up this year and I think Wallace will make a lot of waves when it starts happening......If he was a Team player he would sign get to camp and learn the new O which the QB has stated will be hard to learn on multiple occassions.....He can still work on his deal and that would help the Team and his Team Mates.....Every Day he misses sets the O back and hurts the O and the entire Team.....If he is as great as he thinks he is then get on the field and prove it,stop tring to hold the Steelers hostage, because it's not going to work......

I like this idea too. I was really hoping people took this as the joke it was. I figured most would but, as hard as it is to believe, once in a while someone on this message board takes things to heart. I am a Clark fan and will stick with him until he is done. He is one of those guys that I feel has played bigger than his talents suggest he should.
